Had hope that on 3rd sept, as per ATIP mail will get my notes and may get an idea abt where, what is stuck.
yest got mail from ATIP saying " AN EXTENSION OF UPTO 50 DAYS PURSUANT TO PARAGRAPH 9(1)(A) OF THE ACCESS TO INFORMATION ACT, IS REQUIRED"
After waiting for 45 days this is what i got...
NO PPR, NO STATUS CHANGE AND NOW NO NOTES TOO...
feel stuck and tired.

Just wondering, did you request photocopies/physical records of your file? or did you request electronic snapshot?
because the section 9(1)(A) states the following:
(a) the request is for a large number of records or necessitates a search through a large number of records and meeting the original time limit would unreasonably interfere with the operations of the government institution,

because there are still cases seen in these forums where ATIP request are being completed in 30 day timeframe, so what could be different in your case?

[ ab toh gussa bhi nahin aata...sirf ankh bhari rehti hain...till yest i had hope that may be i might have lost mail for ppr and on getting notes i may send passport, but ab wo hope bhi nahin...at times god is too unfair]

What is going on, I can't understand how they skip some files. It is not fair. They haven't done anything, you should def approach MP and make a complain on this. Or write a letter to CIC manager in Mississauga.

yeh log insensitive bande hain hence i have no option but to wait...the m.p at toronto says wait till u exceed ur time limit...]
