Hi Guys

Sent my passport to NDVO on May 27th. My status is still showing application received on April 4th.

Ecas is not showing whether NDVO has received my medicals or not. Should I contact doctor to make sure medical was sent or not ? Does everyone get status medical received ?
Generally how much time it takes to be "In. Process" after sending passport ? Do we know cases where status changed from application received to decision made directly?

Actually my timeline is also similar to yours.I filled my application on 21st Jan 2013.Passport requested on March 09,2013.E-cas is still showing Application received and Medical received.
What about your E-cas status?

My timeline is also similar and i have the same status written on E-cas. Dunno wats going on with NDVO, Talking long time.

Most of the January applicants got passport request on 9th March.

I feel all will get passports back with visa stamp in coming week

Whn i saw status online under sponsorship it says decision made and under sponsored person it says application received and under that they updated medical received...

If the medicals were sent along the application and u even got ppt request, the status should show medicals received...
So i think u shuld contact doctor and also send an enquiry email to NDVO..thy do reply late. I have also read in this forums tht some times E-cas status in not updated regularly.

Okay so i came across appeal cases thread here and it kinda scared me.....i wana know if staying in india with my husband will cause any issue ? I was in india for 6months last year and now i have been here since january ....got married in feb and since then staying with my husband....my lawyer did mention in the application that i am only here to stay with my husband and will go back....what do you guys think i should do?

Can anyone please reply to this ? I am getting worried....

As long as you can ensure them that once ur spouse gets a PR u will move back to Canada and will spend ur life in canada it will not matter at all, if not yes it will become a huge problem.
