In our case, we fight a lot on small n silly issues, sometimes in the middle of an arguement I even forget the reason we r fighting for ??? ;D then I tell my husband later abt it n we have a good laugh

Finally some positive news from my end!!!!!!
Application status changed to In-Process as of Sept 09.

How long will it usually take if the status changes to In-process? Any timeline folks?
I see many forum members status changes directly from Application received > Decision Made.

Why in our case its changed to In-Process?

Any thoughts forum members?

Félicitations for the change -- and in process in ur case depends upon case to case or maybe VO to VO some change it directly to dm once all the verifications are done. And some may chng it to in process thn dm. ‎juste unne supposition

I remember some people have called New delhi directly and got to speak to someone there.. Could someone please provide me with contact#? Hey buddy who told you to send your original documents it says in the paper work as well no need to send anything in original but now its very tough for you to get them back hope you luck for that........just try and go to ndvo or cic office in canada where you submitted your documents and explain them ur situation if you are lucky enough you may chance to get something back

they only asked u to send original pcc and medical with application otherwise everything shld be a copy....try calling or sending them an email....hope they reply back...

I suggest you to start from sending them a letter with the list of documents and reason for requesting them back.

If you live in New Delhi....visit them if possible

You should not be sending the documents until unless they specifically ask you. which documents you like to get back ?

You always send them the original job letter...you can get another one from your employers HR dept.

Why hassle yourself with NDVO.

If its easier for you to get another original job letter (saying you lost the original), I would do that. That would be faster than expecting NDVO to look for that and send you. This will avoid complications to your file.

If I were you I would not bother getting this letter back from NDVO. You can get it as many times as you want from you HR.
