I have one question in mind. If anybody can answer well , when Ecas status is "In Process" what work is actually done by ndvo on file? does they start background check etc or all work is done and file is with visa officer for Decision?

i think status in process means your file work is done and file is in the hand of visa officers......

Thursdays n Fridays, that's what we have been told by our immigration consultant.

I dnt knw anything abt the interview..coz they started wrking on my file on 7th august ..so still waiting for their reply..Mt case is straight forward..lets c wats goona hpn....How abt u ??

Also I have heard they are very slow in updating online status. Most of the time ppl already reach Canada n their ecase status still shows "under process"
So just don't rely on these status updates n keep checking ur mails for good news!

Whats the best way to contact NDVO ? i know they never reply to the emails that people send them. any fast route ? I have a case specific enquiry.. in gcms notes , they mentioned passport photos requested.. but i never got any such request, other than that for passport..

You can try contacting your MP and they can verify this for you.... You should have sent the photos by now with a cover letter and copy of the notes.

Any update in ur e-case status mine just same from 4 months application and medical recieved
