I guess NDVO works in alternate weeks ! last week we got DMs and In process and a week before that there was work but less and we got news in later part of the week ! So the future canadians , wait and watch , here comes the september with r visas

oh yes wait for d blsts of dm's.. everyday whn ma door bell rings i rush to open lol.. once i gt mail frm my bank my aunt opened the.. madam dr sania ali hai unka post aya i was lyk MY PASSPORT lol but it was ma cheq book lol.. vosa ppt always on mind...

hi tgill,everyday I used to call (no:01141782000) ndvo and confirm that they are open(working)/ closed. Usually when I make a call on Saturday and sunday I get a voice message as "our office is closed today"(I also got this message (for someday) when the strike was going on..) but today I did not get that message.if the office is open it usually says "welcome to Canadian high commission new delhi,to the service in english please press 1,if you know the extension number of the person you are calling ,press etc etc etc..... ..this wat I can do sitting in home :'( :'-[ :-[

I have one question in mind. If anybody can answer well , when Ecas status is "In Process" what work is actually done by ndvo on file? does they start background check etc or all work is done and file is with visa officer for Decision?

i don't think theres a definitive answer to that...
