Can we apply for Visit visa to our family when Family class sponsorship application is in process?
If so what is the percentage of getting visa and does this have any impact on current application process ?

Thanks

Chances are very low for vistor visa while already applied for sponsor visa unless its emergency situation. Would not effect the sponsor application that much. But chances are very low to get visitor visa

I approached my MP yesterday, he checked the status of my application, and this is the reply I received today.

Pending selection decision
Background checks not initiated yet
Passport received

I'm not sure what is "pending Selection Decision" and if Backgoud checks not initiated, how long do you think it will take in addition. How soon can she expect to get visa. Please let me know. Thx

unbelievable...6 months after the file transfer, they still haven't started the background checks yet...what exactly did they do all day long before the strike?

Is that because of you application is in process or any other case ... on what conditions they had rejected your application?

They don't easily issue visa if you have already applied for family sponsorship visa ... Specially spousal category ... Guess this is the biggest reason ..

You are very correct, its not fair that some people after me are in Canada. What is going on. I really upset with the NDVO system.

could u share your timeline?

Hello everyone,

I have a question to ask of you guys. I did not send my divroce petition with my application as it was
not requested with the forms. The NDVO has not stated processing my spouse's application yet although the PPR has been sent. Wondering if I should wait for NDVO to contact re: the petition or send it any way?
How likely is that they are going to ask for a divorce petition.

Thanks.

Thx, so what is T-12 means. how do you know that I'm in T-12. I'm bit confused, is that means interview is possible.

Dont worry about T-12 it juss their system code...

you dont have to worry about the interview if ur case is not complicated....

Hi Myrah and Amisha Patel and all

My timeline is quite similar to you, and i m checking this forum almost everyday. PPR req on 7 July, Sent on 17 Jul....

My question that i am doing IELTS and they need passport so that i can appear for the test (no other indian ID is accepted, that sucks), should i ask for my passport or should i wait or should i tell my MLA about the whole situation, ll he/she help in this?

i mean first thing if you are not stamping visa soon why are you asking for passports? this whole system is corrupt, i ll also post email of Mr Jason Kenny so that you can directly send him Email. i sent one about the backlog getting worse due to strike but got no reply back.

Please your 2 cents.

Disappointed.
