Really sorry it's taking so long for you. I hope your interview gets scheduled soon. Sad to say this but probably not until after the strike. There has been very little movement from ND since the strike started (certainly no interviews scheduled). They seem to only be filing open and shut cases. Very few DM's the last 2 months.

This hearing , PAFSO, Govt... everything is a joke....in these developed countries things can take forever to resolve....Very frustrating.....sometime i think if i have choosed the wrong country ...Seriously... >:(

I think most of us are in the same boat, please relax. I know its tough, just hang in their. I would suggest you to apply for GCMS notes and see why they wanted you for the interview. They usually put some notes why they are concerned about your marriage. This will help you prepare for the interview.

I agree with you, this should have not been taken this far. But it is now, we suffered thru and now its almost the end. Lets just wait(cause that all we cant do) and see where is goes.

Tony Clement is to really blam for all this....

It is absolutely disgusting to see whats happening with this strike...4 months and no resolution?? developed counties...my A**!

Tony clement is a nutcase..and its a known thing in Canada. But Tim Edward@PAFSO is a bigger loser for demanding such high wages ...and holding us as hostages.

Your Right. Tim Edward wouldnt give S$#@ about Canadian's, and yes they dont need the wage increase, But Tony Clement should have resolved this, cause this is effecting canadian, Were the ones paying taxes.

Pafso is too be blamed for this FC...g strike because in the current economic environment they are asking for wage increase there would be lots of folks out their with same qualification to work for the same wages and even less.

This is what i got from NEw delhi office through MP.
I dont know why they have to hold my passport for 5 months and they are still calling me for an interview..

CASE STATUS: Following an initial review, this application was queued for interview and is currently awaiting its turn for scheduling. All applications are scheduled in order of receipt by our office. This application will be scheduled based on its application received date of: Mar13.

Interviews are normally conducted at the High Commission of Canada in New Delhi. Once an interview date is scheduled, the applicant will receive an appointment/interview letter approximately four to six weeks before interview.

We are striving to make our processing of Family Class applications as efficient as possible. We continue to meet our commitment to a service standard of 6 months to finalization for at least 80% of cases for sponsored spouses, partners, and children. Processing times are calculated from the date the application is approved by Case Processing Centre Mississauga, after which it is sent to the visa office for further processing. For individual cases, actual processing times may vary depending on the complexity of the application and the number of new applications received by the visa office
That means your spouse has to go Delhi when they email you. What are u going to do? Go Kathmandu or Wait for some time?

True...2 years back after waiting for 6 years they scrapped my family immigration file with other thousands of applicants... The News was Canada cleared the backlog by 40%....its juss a joke...

I got PPR 2 weeks ago. Is that means I might be called for an interview too. Also please tell me what did you say to your MP and what did MP did for you. Did the MP contact the New Delhi directly or did he send an email. Please share this, it will help lot of us.

Whats similar between your case and Reeyan's case that makes you think that you'll be called for an interview too?

PAFSO President Tim Edwards says he is satisfied with how today's hearing went. He's hopeful for a decision in union's favour.

Hearing over. Adjudicator will issue written decision in "due course." No timeline. Hearing likely done, unless more questions.
