Yes skas13, I see both the sponsor and applicant columns on the left and right in my view (sponsor). In my wife's view(applicant), I only see Application received (like the rest of us all) with the Indian mailing address.

You have to be patient at this point, 3 days is not a whole lot, you have waited 6 months for this lol...

I would give the passport issuance at-least 7 business days, before I have some weird thoughts crossing my mind lol.. and congratulations btw.

You are totally right!! I know it's a positive decision, I just want to book his flight and have this whole process (aka nightmare) over with. I actually find waiting for the passport the hardest part, as you know something is coming so you always think about it.

Can someone do me a favour- those of you who have application received, can you log into the sponsors E-cas (not principal applicant). Can you tell me if on the sponsors page you see both the sponsor (on the left) and the principal applicant (on the right).

I'm asking because on my ecas (sponsor) I see both my name and my husbands name both of us with Decision made and mailing address and permanent address in Canada.
When I log on to my husband's e-cas, it shows decision made and only his Indian mailing address.

I'm just wondering for those with Application received if you see both sponsor and applicant on the SPONSORS ecas.

My husband is still waiting for passport- but it's only been 3 days since DM. So of course now I am questioning everything I see on Ecas.

Let it go...ecas is not reliable....i would only be worried if my passport do no arrive in 2-3 weeks time.

I think you are worrying too much. The address in ecas is pretty much fine.

When you login with your credentials it should actually show canadian addresss because you are the sponsor and you are in canada. applicant login will show indian address bcz your spouse is stil in india.
Wait until his landing for his status to show canadian address or sometimes it changes before receiving passport also. So please dont read too much into the address updates. As another forum member pointed out... just think few weeks before... take that positive vibe and cheer up for your spouse to join you... wishing good luck for new life in canada...

Thank you, and YES I am worrying too much. I think part of the problem is my husband refuses to believe he is coming until he has his passport, which is understandable. I think it is a shock for him, because leaving his mom and dad and sister will be really difficult. Plus saying good bye to friends and the place he has been born and raised in will be rough. I want him to start packing, saying good bye, buying me some gold and spices (LOL) so that he can leave asap. He just can't believe it yet.

Yes you can check with your UCI too. Put ur UCI, ur surname, DOB & Place of birth...all your information (not ur hubby's). Once you get into ur file status, you will see DM for sponsorship approval & on the other side you will see status about his PR process.
