I am loosing all my hopes pafso are paying with thousands of life's for money.we all have to wait till September now

Guys,

Out of the frustrating situation, my wife got a response from the NDVO as a reply of a mail sent 3 months back. after four and half months, they responsed that they got the passport.

It seems the staffs are working at a snail pace - but the hope is that they are still working.

Lets hope there will be status change soon..... from application Received to Decision made....

dying to meet my wife with whom i have ever spent 4 months only :'( :'( :'( :'( : : : and for my wife .. :-* :-* :-* :-*

You are right they have essential workers are working in the consulates.

He said PAFSO workers are unfair with their demands ( which is true ) and he will not change his opinions because of their stupid demands. He also said VISA's are being processed by the other staff at consulates and they trying their best to process ASAP.

The only visas he talked about were tourist and student I did not hear him talk about family class at all.this is getting worse day by day .he was right in saying that pafso is unfair with their demands these as....es get so many perks still they have greed for few more thousand dollars.

He mentioned that PAFSO yearly salary is between $60,000 to $120,000.. I honestly this PAFSO is been unreasonable. To have these salary and all the perks, its defiantly good money...

PAFSO Files Bad-Faith Bargaining Complaint against the Government of Canada[July 31, 2013 – Ottawa]
In the wake of Treasury Board President Tony Clement’s refusal onJuly 26 to enter into binding arbitration to resolve its labour dispute with the Professional Association of Foreign Service Officers, PAFSO this morning filed a bad-faith bargainingcomplaint against the Government of Canada with the Public Service Labour Relations Board(PSLRB).In its complaint, PAFSO asserts that the Treasury Board “knowingly and intentionally demandedconditions for binding arbitration that could not reasonably be accepted”. These conditions“would, if accepted, have pre-determined the arbitration decision” in Treasury Board’s favour. Indoing so, the Government violated the duty to bargain in good faith prescribed by the
PublicService Labour Relations Act
.In light of the severe and mounting losses this labour dispute is inflicting on the Canadianeconomy, PAFSO is asking the PSLRB to hear our case as quickly as possible. We are alsoasking the PSLRB to order both sides to enter into binding arbitration.“Our 1,350 members are profoundly disappointed with the Government’s refusal to take theresponsible way out of this dispute,” said PAFSO President Tim Edwards. “By rejecting our offer of arbitration, they seem intent on prolonging this strike – at enormous cost to Canadian tourismcompanies, educational institutions, airlines, and agricultural producers. Their course of actiondefies reason and common sense.”“PAFSO has made every reasonable effort to resolve this situation, including accepting three of the six preconditions Minister Clement sought to impose on free arbitration,” said Mr. Edwards.“The Government has not done the same. We can only conclude that Treasury Board is actingwith prejudicial intent toward Canada’s Foreign Service – behaviour that should be of seriousconcern to all Canadians. We are seeking judicial intervention to compel the Government tonegotiate in good faith.”PAFSO’s complaint was filed pursuant to Section 190(1)(b) of the

You're never going to get rich working for the gov't....

They want to get paid like economist and lawyers...how this is fair....juss because you have a same job level does not mean you will be paid same.

PAFSO are getting what average canadian can dream of....
