Its been 4 months that my husband has applied for the spouse visa for me. My documents arrived here in India in April. I have submitted all the required documents. But, there is no any status update other than of application received.

Is it the effect of strike that visa process is slow or something else? How long it will take for them to issue a visa?

Some good news, another person from Delhi 2012 forum got their Passport back with stamp. They had applied 11 months ago in August 2012!!
he said when his wife went to pick up the passport the office was almost empty because of the strike

But good news is, at least something is happening in that office. Us 2013 are still quite a ways behind as they are trying to clear off 2012 applicants, and there still seems to be a lot.

Guys one of the 2012 applicant collected PP from NDVO today and below is his observation of NDVO as on today

And yes the office was almost empty as people are on strike. Only handfull of people were only there and most of the desks and offices were empty.

This shows there is hardly any work going on in NDVO.....Not at all good sign

I read the 2012 forum and spreadsheet I cant figure out....we are like 6-7 ppl now on this forum who haven't got ppr........infact we all shld have got it in MAY....now its july ....technically before oct april applicants shld get visa...but if this goes the way they work then im really worried I cant afford to wait till 2014.....
