so far it has been a smooth sail with passport request and medicals received status...half the battle is won...luckily your visa officer is dedicated to work so you got everything done like a clock work...now just like a person stranded in an isolated island looking for a ship to arrive, you patiently wait for 6 months from date of filing your application until NDVO, hopefully, opens your application...I suggest not to check ecas every day or apply for notes every month..if you do, you will end up in mental asylum...

Hey guys just wanna share my landing experience, I have landed over here at Toronto on the morning of 7th dec. Whole process waa smooth and took around 10 mins except waiting time.
1. Handed over the declaration form given to us during flight.
2. Waited in queue for 30 mins
3, Signed my COPR in front of immigration officer, he has just asked about general details like my canadian address n contact no,
4. Photograph was taken for PR card.
5. I was directed to baggage collection area, in between some magazines n forms were handled to me,
6. Then i have collected my baggage.
7. custom officer just asked that if there are any goods to follow.
8. Came out of airport.

at this rate applicant's grandson would get his visa before than the applicant itself....maybe united nations should introduce universal passport where one can live wherever one wants and put NDVO out of business
