Ok guys need some quick help,

My wife leaves tomorrow night from India, I'm helping her fill the B4 form. I have done everything in groups and im good with everything except one thing. I have a group for gold (8 gold bracelets, 6 gold rings, 3 wedding gold sets, 5 necklaces). I have an appraisal for the gold as the whole group of gold, but appraisal says it's worth $749,909 rupees (roughly $13,500cdn).

Now my question is will customs give her a hard time about this because it's worth more than $10,000? The appraisal is for all the gold put together, individually nothing exceeds over $2000cdn.

I was going to put in the B4 form as one group called gold and in brackets write all the individual rings, necklaces, bracelets she is bringing and declare the group as $13500cdn. I was also going to staple a copy of the appraisal to the B4 for them. Good idea or bad idea??

Someone please help, im dazed and confused about this lol

actually dhami when you are entering for the first time to Canada there is no limit on the amount your declare ...they will stamp that and you have about 3 years to get those things wihout any issue
make a list of all the things that are your personal and what you are getting later as well pictures will be nice and then make sure you declare that and the pr guys will stamp that.... and you can basically take 3 years to get those....

wonder when my medical will be updated ... and the medical was done in new delhi itself....mine still shows as in process bloody idiots....

Ya I kno eh,, no my medical got updated 2 days after inprocess

ohok it got updated after ip ....I got mine updated on 30th june....I have noticed that whenever 40-45 ppl get IP then there is a blast ....rt now we have crossed 45 ppl in ip so good news is coming ...half of the ppl in ip will be getting DM in less than a week now.....chalo lets see what ndvo does....wishing everyone lots of good luck ;D ;D

I think its time for your medicals to be updated .....most ppl will get dm now....they cant go on like this till jan....they have to issue lots of visa's before Christmas...

Oh acha, ya hope for best. I guess we won't mind getting atleast DM before Christmas and that would be the best Santas gift ever haha and hoping to see some progress by next week.

there are couple of people on Myrah's spreadsheet who had applied the first week of May still waiting for status change...not sure about their ecas status...I applied on May21st and it still shows application received; medical reports received..i did not get passport request either (notes says nothing started)
