Hi,
As per one of the previous posts regarding GCMS notes that was posted in this forum, when I e-mailed ATIP my request, I got an automated reply asking to submit ATIP request online.
Do I need to submit this request again using online ATIP request tool? If yes, when I submit using ATIP online request tool, will I need to pay 5 CAD fee once again or will it give me option to use the receipt that I used for the request made through e-mail?
Can any one please clarify my above questions?

Thanks,
Gupta

Guys!!!! Any updates??? Any news???? Something......
its almost been 75 days since the NDVO has received my passport....

I think standard time according to spreadsheet is now averaging 120 days since PPR request and applicants still haven't received their visa, stay strong.
You are going to be fine...

It's also mentioned earlier by someone (pardon me I don't know who) that 3-4 months is standard time nowadays with no updates!

@ Mangi

Its been 75 days for me too..Close to your date...Still waiting..... ??? ??? ???

I swear I am tired of waiting waiting...

DOES ANYBODY KNOW IF THEY SEND US AN EMAIL INDICATING THEY ARE GOING TO SEND PASSPORT??????????????? I AM STILL CONFUSED... ::)

I feel ur pain Reeyan.....

Just wondering, what are the exact steps that NDVO goes through.

When they request the passport so early, are they in parallel doing something else on the file in parallel. Or is it that they are keeping the passport on file for months and only when IN PROCESS status comes up do they actually start working on the file. Any ideas?

They are most likely keeping it on file until they begin processing it. For most people, NDVO requests their passport early on in the process, and the PPR date has no relevance to the date the decision is made. In a few cases, they've requested the passport when they're ready to process/stamp it.

Yes I understand that. I am asking, is it only when InProcess comes up on ECAS that the file is being looked at or does this begin before? I mean people get called for interviews and only after does the status change to In Process. They obviously do not call for an interview without having looked at the file

Yeah, we all feel the pain.
Doesn't everyone think several times, why do we have to go through this?
Most of the times I try to stay positive hoping that the PP comes back with the PR approval 3 months after the PPR.
But loooking at many people still in queue from 2012 Sep/Oct takes the hope out of me.
I have to admit that this is depressing at times.
I'm waiting for some 2013 appicant to get the approval news. That would definitely boost our hopes.
Nonetheless, I'm praying for everyone in 2012 to receive it soon as well.
Good luck to all of us! Let God help us!

guys nvdo asked me to pay landing fees ,,,,
is this a gud sign 8)

Hi all,
Can any1 please let me know the address of NDVO? In the passport letter it is mentioned:

Immigration Section
7/8 Shantipath, Chanakyapuri
P O Box 5209,
New Delhi – 110 021

But does blue dart deliver to P.O box? please let me know.
Thanks
mav

Looks like there are not many people applying in the month of April and May. I hope this will help NDVO to work on 2012 and 2013 applications to clear the backlog and help us all to reunite with our partners.

Hi maverick.dexter,

This is the correct address where u need to send your PP. Bluedart is a reliable service and I think they are the only one who delivers the PP to a PO box address. I hope this helps and answers your question

Regards,
James

Hi navdeep,

Just out of curiosity, have u received a separate letter from NDVO asking for the landing fee or this is a part of the letter which asks you to submit your PP.

James
