New Delhi - 2012 applicants

My spouse is 5+ months pregnant and her medicals expired in June 2013.If she receives letter to do re medicals what are the chances of doctor doing her X-Ray..If she cant do her X-Ray then I guess medicals are in complete and the Embassy will not accept her medicals without X-Ray and in turn I have to wait till her delivery which is next year..

If I am not wrong then your interview is done a long time ago, then how come your still waiting for the visa as the other members are saying that they give you the visa right away. Could you plear explain your case for all of us

Interview was done in January.

In the gcms notes it said that after the interview they believe that our relationship is genuine.

A couple weeks after the interview, when the my spouse didn't receive the passport back I did an mp inquiry here in Canada.

Mp said that the background checks are pending and those could take upto 3 months.

So we waited.

And then this strike started. Which delayed are case furthur.

On Monday my spouse's mailing address changed to their Indian residence. Up until then it was my reps address here in Canada.

On Friday, the passport came along with a request to submit his medical and passport again.

I hope this clears things. Let me know if you have more questions.

Hey thanks for replying. I think same goes for my case. Through an MP enquiry I found out that after initial review of the application our file was recommended for the interview. I am guessing they haven't done any background or security checks. Can I ask you if your spouse have travel history as it can be tricky and can consume lots of time. Also please if you could mention some of the Important interview questions that would be great.

No travel history whatsoever.

In the interview they didn't even ask much. Just when my parents came to Canada. And then some questions about Islam.

Congratulations to all 2012 applicants who are getting DMs and in-processes now ! It's about time and long overdue that your applications are moving forward!!!!

No travel history whatsoever.

In the interview they didn't even ask much. Just when my parents came to Canada. And then some questions about Islam.

whole process is nuts..it took them more than a year to ask questions about your parents and about your religion...My hats off to all the 2012 applicants who had straight forward uncomplicated applications and who have waited this long to get some positive response from NDVO.

It was stupid, really. Everyone else that was there for the interview that day spent over half an hour in the booth with the visa officer. My husband was out within five minutes. I didn't even understand the point of the interview.

Hey I would say maby 5% out of 100... We had 2 interviews in
The past files they never called me
Just be prepared for interivew with documents. + confidence
Answers to the questions they asky!!!!!and u will do great
