got gcms notes today saying Pending
Crim RFV Check done File sent to FCU-RFV ( crim decision )anybody have an idea what it say

Everything in pending? Had they evaluated your relationship atleast? Like mentioned if you need an interview etc?

yes there was a paragraph which talks about "relationship genuine, both are compatible, interview waiver recommended", and that is why after a week I got a call from passport submission, we did submit the passport but again its an uncertain and indefinite waiting, and in my case, medical will expire in next month by 24 july..... so i am worried...

Hey I am also having the same frustration too. I also had the same thing spend only 7 days with my wife then had to come to Canada unwillingly :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( because of job

I feel ya..... But, unfortunately there is nothing we can do besides waiting...
I am planning on submitting the GCMS notes to see where we are.... It's been 4 months since they have my wife's passport and 8 months since applied...

It is now 16 months since we applied. Now 4 months since being approved at the interview and been in process. they claimed to have never received our RPRF receipt, but we had sent it twice before and sent it again after we found out this last time they lost it. After 3.5 months they finally responded that they DID receive his passport and new medical, but the receipt with with those documents, same package.

As of last week they have told my MP that they still have not begun background checks, but they did NOT say they were still awaiting the receipt for the RPRF, but they did not respond to our inquiry about receiving the receipt the third time we sent it.



Frustrated... Soon it will be our second anniversary without being together....

ohh noo.. this is ridiculous.. Can't you get your MP to expedite it..they have exceeded their processing timing.. Its their fault.. try pushing your MP

plz help and suggest what to do if some1 with same situation


i sponsored my wife ajune 2012 .my wifes medical is expired in march 2013 .visa officer in interview said she need to redo medical but we have not recieved medical ,but my sons medical came last month and we did it .now i contact my MP and they replied that they have send my wife's medical and pay landing fees .i already paids RPRF fees .i CONTACT doctor in india and they can redo my wife's medical without embassy letter .please suggest me what to do ....otherwise next month their deadline for medical will expired ..but i have not recieved medical for my wife ...............

finally got DECISION MADE

Really very happy. I wish the same for all. Hope everyone gets decision by next week.

Thanks to all for giving me strength. Especially my prayers are with 2012 applicants. Waiting is really frustrating.

Now waiting for the passport.

I have got decison made. The status says that, The office will contact my wife concerning this decision. I believe the decision is positive.

I can see lots of decision made in recent days thanks God for the favour and thank my friends who adviced me to do couple of things.

I did five things around 2 weeks before decision made come

1: Offered prayer to Jesus Christ
2. Sent a mail to cic missisuagua
3. ordered GCMS notes
4. Sent mail to ND VO saying urgent and important in message line
5. Sent a mail to Mr. JAson Kenney.

I believe above first thing worked.

Yes if the doctor is ready to do the medicals, you can go ahead and do the remedicals. You can send the medical form along with cover letter to NDVO mentioning your file details and info on your kids remedical. All the best!

God knows what they are doing with our passports this early bro.. That's what I don't understand if processing is not completed then why asking for our passports..

I must however, regretfully remind you that our office, or indeed even the Member of Parliament, has no power to request that any application be expedited. Furthermore, we have been advised that the Professional Association of Foreign Service Officers (PAFSO) union is currently taking strike action. PAFSO union members responsible for processing visa applications have been walking out of offices in Canada and overseas and, therefore, delays should be expected.

I will be in touch as soon as I receive any update..
