i guess we belong to the most unfortunate lot of this process. u knw my file went in process since april 11. no ppr yet. its been 7.5 months now that we applied and its still stuck. its sometimes really painful when we see dec, jan applicants are getting DM's while we are still waiting even for a minor movement in our files....

I have thought to wait till may end for ppr. henceforth i would again do a mp enquiry. My medicals will expire in the mid of august. jst cant take any further pain of remedicals or interview. I have reached the saturation point already.

Dnt worry for ur passport expiry. this wont go that further..... u'll hear the good news very soon!!-

Hi naagataa...i totally feel your pain... but we shouldnt lose hope...we gota just wait for it to happen! - there is realy no choice left.
passport expiring in october seems like a problem to me. coz its not 6 months left anymore before it expires, and mostly they do not stamp visa if it is less than 6 months, why has ur ppr not issued..thats surprising to me.. yes wait till end of may! hopefully they will get their hands on your file soon ! !

Hi All,

Does anyone know, when the address is changed on Ecas (after decision made) and it only mentions Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. What does it indicate? As a note my application was filed from Toronto, ON and now I reside in Edmonton, AB.

I am confused on what it indicates. Does this mean my husband will have to land in Ottawa first?

Thanks

It means, your case is positive.
Congt8s.

Can i submit my PP with one page blank in passport. As all my pages are stamped. yes there is space in other pages for In/Out stamps but not full blank.

Can anybody know about this thing. any minimum requirement from CIC NDVO

If you have two pages blank in your passport, then it is ok. It is NOT necessary that pages should be face each other.

Congratulations for your DM. The passport will come by regd post onlt and it may take up to 20 days from the date of DM. SO don't worry, just pack your stuff and book your flight and live a Majja nu life in Canada. ;D ;D ;D

I had the same problem. I had blank pages but they weren't facing each other. So I had to get a new passport made. Making a new passport doesn't affect your application. You just have to email NDVO a case specific email and tell them your new PP number and submit all PPs together.

It's better to get a new PP than to have them send it back after months of sitting on it saying that they need to pages facing each other.

Many countries, US, UK, etc have a requirement that to place a visa sticker, you need two facing pages.

You may also get your MP to check this requirement for you.

I called the call center and they were absolutely useless.

hi kimmy
good to hear on ur DM.do you have the link to apply for GCMS.

Requesting GCMS notes:

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/department/atip/requests-atip.asp

- Easiest and quickest way is to go through the first link on there for "Online Request"
- All you need is that someone from Canada must do it - so you or your spouse, whoever is in Canada, as long as they have a Canadian mailing address, they should make the request.

Note: The IMM 5475 mentioned in the ScorpionKing's post will no longer be accepted. It says so on the website above.
All the information in the other form (IMM 5563 mentioned in the previous post) is entered online, and the payment is also done online as part of this process.

Steps:
1. Download the consent form IMM 5744 (you can find it from the link I posted above). This should be completed by the spouse in India, and the "designated individual" is the spouse in Canada who is requesting the GCMS notes. Check both the boxes in section 4 of the form, and sign it.
2. Initiate the "Online Request" at the top of the link I posted above. Proceed through the application and fill in the information as you go. You used to need to complete form IMM 5563, if you were requesting by mail or email, but with this online request, you don't need it anymore. All the same information is now filled in online.
3. Upload the consent form when it tells you go. If the spouse in Canada is not using a Canadian mailing address, you will also need to upload proof of Canadian residency.
4. It will ask for payment before you can make the final submission. You can use a credit card.
5. Now is the hard part - waiting for a few weeks!

Hope that helps.
