I don't blame you for that, we both are in the same boat. as our case is much similar and similar time line.
I think yours and my wife VOs is the same, and he forgot both of you.
Whenever my wife phoned me my first question did you hear anything from them..
Things are getting crazy.. but we have no choice.. its better to wait..
I know some peoples around here getting a quick response..
If anything happen it happen for the best..

I agree this is the best way to console ourselves and i am also hundred percent sure that we had the same visa officer , coz the conversation ur wife had with him is the same as mine ...

But how long should we wait ..... here at my end ,my husband has stopped asking me bout our case . He feels that makes me more anxious . and he blvs that if i hear something he will be the first person i'm gonna share it with ...

But the mail my lawyer received said , that the visa office has asked for medical result extensions . They will contact you if the extensions are granted and/or if anything else is required ...

Read this i have copied it from CIC Website..

Upon receipt of the request for reassessment, the MOF or the HB delegated staff will:
Review the medical file to determine if there is sufficiently relevant and up to date medical information to provide a new opinion of admissibility on health grounds;
Request additional medical information if a new opinion based upon the existing information in the medical file is not possible;
Assess the medical file including any new additional medical information as needed;
Provide a new opinion of admissibility or inadmissibility on health grounds;
Enter the new ‘M’ profile in the CIC electronic platform (such as GCMS or FOSS);
Send an e-mail to the officer who requested the reassessment to confirm that the process has been completed.
It is recommended that the officer issue medical instructions for a new full routine medical examination done by a panel physician if the results of additional testing are unlikely to be provided quickly.

If the opinion of the CIC MOF and/or HB delegated staff is that the applicant is:
Admissible on health grounds: a new medical certificate will be issued and will be valid for a 12 month period starting from the date of the new medical assessment;
Inadmissible on health grounds: a new medical certificate will not be issued.
The new ‘M’ profile constitutes the most current opinion of inadmissibility provided to the officer for the final decision of inadmissibility on health grounds.

I hope so ............ though the chances are less . Because this extension mail was received on 14th Jan ...

I wish and i pray that all of us who are waiting since long @ nancy ,addicted123 , u and me should really really get our pp back with visa soon ..

You did not got my point, when i am in the full sleep, she phoned me in mid-night around 3.30 or 4 so, i am real excited she got some good news.. even i do not keep on asking her same question again again, we change the topic, we forget about this VISA BS.. She is waiting for so long, and you know indian people asking every time why you are still here.. which is really non of their business. but you know people mentality.. specially Gujarati people. they are very eager to know.

I have been a silent observer of this forum for the last few months. Thought to share with you some great news. I received a call from my wife in India who received her passport with visa this afternoon.

The last time I checked ECAS was a week before the system went down and it read application and medicals have been received. We were very surprised that the passport came today.

Also, the VISA expiry is the validity of the medicals so she has until May 5th to land in Canada. Nevertheless, she is coming next week.

I wish everyone all the best, keep faith, stay strong and have patience as you will receive your passports or DM soon.
