finally received passport today with visa on it and copr ...( thy didnt return my pictures back i send thm around 500 pictures)

once again thnkuu soo much all forum members it was great help n best place to make ths wait bit easier

will be leaving my best week and will post after reaching

It seem that they have gone through my application file and requested for additional information via mail, letter dated 21 jan 2012 and i received it today

FINALLY ......got a call from NDVO to submit my passport ....The lady just asked my DOB and asked me to send my passport ....

Sent it today ...lets see when I see it back ....

You are done !!! Your Visa will be issued immediately as soon as your Passport will reach NDVO because they have asked your Passport once they are ready to issue you the PR. You will get your PP with VISA in less then 7 - 8 days from today.

Yes , I got PPR after in process ....both done on same day

Congrats. But did you really expect the pics back? It is clearly mentioned in the guide, they won't return any pictures!

Yup. Let's do this. If we don't give feedback, they'll never know what the problems are. PM me your email addresses and we can share our points. I doubt anyone of us will check the forum so regularly once the visas are issued, tickets booked and we're sipping hot chocolate in cold Canada! ;D

Hi guys, like Maple suggested we can send our feedback to immigration council about the indefinite possession of passports without any confirmation. As, passport being an original and important document, we can request for at least a confirmation or acknowledgement receipt. If you agree, send a PM to Maple.

Really tired of checking my email every half an hour. My file was transferred to NDVO on 2nd Nov, 2012. Since then, i am waiting for my PPR. Its going to be 3 mnths but nothing's coming my way.......

Can you please share your timeline. If you look at the spreadsheet, there are few of us whose file were transferred towards end of October and in November who haven't received PPR yet.

Pls incorporate my details in the spreadsheet:

sponsorship approval (via email): 2nd November, 2012
File transfer to NDVO: 2nd November, 2012
Passport Request: not yet
ecas status: Appl received; medical results received

i believe that we have similar timelines...how come u did not receive ppr yet ?? Mine was sent out on Nov 18 :'(
