New Delhi - 2012 applicants

I am so Relieved to see other people rowing the same boat as me and my husband. I am sick and tired of the ecas showing the same old status for over 4 months now. I went to visit my husband this month and took a chance of going to CHC New Delhi personally, yeah not so helpful. I was wondering if anyone knew how it would help if I went to talk to our local MP about all this? But all in all I hope and pray that we all hear some good news this week as I want to be with my husband for Valentines

Yeah, the MP will try and an enquiry from NDVO. Have you submitted the pp yet? They will let you know how the process had moved and whatever is going on with your application.

I can understand how you wish to be with your husband for Valentines day but I'd rather be honest with you, a lot of us have missed our first anniversaries, first birthdays(after wedding), New Year's Eve and a lot of other festivals due to this. Don't think we should give you any false hopes, but still I wish you get to celebrate it with your husband.

Yahooooooooooooooooo. My Spouse has got both the emails for AOR and Sponsorship Approval on 25th Jan, 2013. The emails were lying in the Spam Folder. She just forwarded me both the emails.

@ SAAG please update my timeline for AOR and Sponsorship Approval as 25th Jan, 2013.

How are you guys?? How was the weekend? Chitra....maple...watsup chicas!

I didn't bother to check ecas for 3 days and came to know the site wasn't working!

Energy saved!

I think I will go visit another state (in India ofcourse) to kill time! South India perhaps....

Hopefully we hear some good news this week, after a long weekend.

Next week is month ending week. Its usually the time when they go for bulk updates. So if embassy is closed tomorrow. I am still expecting a huge update next week.

recvd PP todat with shiny visa....NDVO updated my status 22 jan processing started 18january nd decision made......visa issue date on passport s 18 january

Thank you for the Reply!! This helps and yes my husband's passport was submitted in October. I applied on July 12th, 2012 and sponsorship was approved on Sep. 23rd, 2012. Passport requested October 8th, and received on October 15th. There has been no update since then. We have a complete file that we submitted along with all the fees including the landing fees as well. So all we are waiting for some news and my husband's passport. And I know we have all missed out on a lot of occasions while waiting, so have I. In the last 3 months I missed out on b'days, festivals and new years that I was so sure we were going to be together for. Therefore here's to really hoping the unlikely comes true and we all get put out of this misery of waiting very very soon!!

I hope so too! So done with the waiting have been seeing the same status "application received" for 5 months now getting sick mentally thinking about it.. Especially when ppl who applied much later got it or at least has some status changed. Happy for them but you know what I mean..

To be honest, I am not expecting mine would come before V day..I just want to know what's going on?! Yes or No?!? That's all..
