New Delhi - 2012 applicants

Hey Mumble!
No updates. Been very busy with bro's wedding. My husband came down on the 16th last month...so been great so far. He will be leaving on the 13th which is when the agony of waiting will kick in again. No clue why this is happening to us. I'm already getting a lil too upset as I didnt want hubby to leave without me:-( irs gonnabe so difficult to see him off again :-(

I'm also a lil too worried as my medicals expiring on the 15th of March. I hope I dont have to redo it. I have been very positive but its getting difficult to even imagine myself waiting more now:-(

Status is stuck on in process forever now. Hope in the next few days we all get our DMs

Yeah...its frustrating now. Cant imagine so many days wasted and no clue how many more.

the interview went all fine.. the application was approved. now the wait starts..

in the interview they asked general questions .. first was why u want to go to canada (duh?) they kept n asking did you marry to immigrate to canada / 2-3 times. know what you submitted in the quiz. do take skype. phone and email.s they will ask for that. take wedding picture albums. highly recommended. take original marriage certificate. dress smartly.. smile and be confident. they will trick question u. like where do u live? why did u give your parents address? it was never given. the address in application was in laws address. so be careful. they might ask for financial committment etc. no personal questions were asked. they did ask about family and if they want to immigrate to canada.. if anyone has any other specific questions. please do ask...

Dear doc amar.. congrats!! I have few ques.. do they tell you right after the interview if its approved?? Also whats ur ecas status now?? How long did they say it will take now for you to recieve the passport??

NO hopes now.....MY Bday today...that was the only reason i cud have wanted to get to canada asap...but now NDVO...You can carry on with your own sluggish pace.... : :

Hey just a few questions to clarify:
1) Do you currently live there?
2) Is that the address you want your passport sent to?

I had a foreign address when I applied because I was not residing in India. But changed my address to an Indian address when I came here to submit my passport. The address is the one I have in my passport as my Indian address.

You can always change the address by sending a case specific email by quoting your file number or UCI.

Happy birthday capri! Even my birthday was a week ago. I missed my wedding anniversary, husband's birthday and my birthday. But like us, you can make up for it when you finally go to Canada, and hopefully the weather will be better

Anyway, this month is supposed to be a good month for capricorns, if you believe in astrology. I'm so upset these days I'll believe anything!

I don't think it is mandatory. I am personally not staying with in-laws so didn't put that address. The important thing is to put the address you are actually staying at.

It's up to you though. The reason they may ask you during the interview is to establish whether your relationship is genuine. Just one of the many questions they ask to check whether your marriage is genuine. I'd say nothing to worry about if all is clear in your case
