No chitrajay ive not added my wife`s name in the passport as yet... it has to be done thru some govt deptt... n indian govt deptt n their timelines take forever.. it sucksss... besides chc nd have my passport for more than 3 months now :-\

Dear Cal2can, can i ask u a personal question that wht took u so long to apply? u got married in jan rite? I applied late coz i made my new pp with husband name in that and also added the same to my name... it took 2months including getting the PCC In hand..

Now its 3 months and 1 day that NDVO has my pp.. Hope to get it soon with shining Visa

We wanted to have some quality time together before getting into the paperwork... hateddd getting pcc n all other docs as it took forever we filed the case on our own n no consultant.... wht abt u did u go thru an immigration consultant or applied direcly??

Thoughts On This:

Received letter from ND Embassy requesting for more pics,evidence of contact,intend to get back to Canada by Jan 27, 2013.But the thing is eCAS still shows Application Received.I guess if they opened my file and requested for more documents then status should be "In Progress"..Correct me if I am wrong...Good luck

From other people's experience, ECAS is not reliable. If they requested for more documents then technically it should be in process.

As per my experience, In process only shows up after they are satisfied with all the documents and interview is waived.

Hi Gagandeep,

You had an interview just a week before mine. My application also got "In Process" after a successful Interview. Did your wife get her passport or still in wait like me? VO officer told me that I had to wait for at least 2 months and passport will come in January some time.

Just curious about yours as we are almost on same time line.

My wife was told the same thing.... all is good but you will get your passport in new year... so we are still waiting....

Wow that is great that u spent some time with each other.. Even i have applied directly.. didn't need one coz the instruction guide was helpful. I have sent 3 emails and one enquiry to NDVO they havent replied for any Hope to hear from them sooon ???
