Capri2012,

GCMS = Global Case Management System. These are the notes on your file. E.g. their notes on whether the relationship is genuine, whether they think an interview is necessary etc. They may help you understand what is taking so long.

MP = member of parliament. This is the MP in the area where the sponsor is. You find this person's name online and depends on the town where your sponsor stays. The MP can make an enquiry on your behalf to find out about the application.

You have to send a request for GCMS notes and pay a $5 fee. Usually it takes about a month for you to get your notes. You can get the info here:
FYI my husband and I have also ordered the notes as have many other people in this forum. You can look at some of the latest posts to see examples of GCMS notes. AND you and I have the same PP request date. It won't hurt to order the notes. At least it will put your mind at ease knowing they have at least dusted off your file and have started work on it!

BTW, when the sponsor (i.e. myself) requests for information via GCMS, should I get my husband in India to fill and sign the Authority to Release Personal Information To a Designated Individual) form?

I agree!! NDVO is so quick some times and bit slow in other times. My other friends got their PP back in 45 days. I heard from others, they don't move our case to In Progress some times.

Only option and hope is Jan 2013.

im really not worried for the interview but i just dont understand what they didnt understand or why they are having doubts.

we have nothing to hide so im not worried and i think we just need to prepare and not stumble on anything

guys i didnt order GCMS notes and now we dont have enough time so im stuck but what should we do to prepare?

Even I am getting nervous now....on seeing more n more ppl getting call for interview now....

I dont understand wats wrong with ND...first they keep on sleeping..n now they woke up to give interview calls to applicants...

I hope ppl whose file went in process wont get any call for interview....

You should order gcms right away anyways. If you receive before interview, you will have info on what their concerns are.. If not, you don't have much to lose anyways, just $5 and a bit of time...

Hey AP you got some positive response from the MP so don't worry. I do not think there will be any interview for you. May be they will clear some cases before Christmas.

NDVO are sleeping. No update on eCas even this week is gone............ ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

I am also 10th april applicant & my case was in process from 8th Oct. But after that there is no such information on my case......What the hell they are doing??
I got so much frustrated now.....I am going through spreadsheet and they already issued visa to the june applicants.....
I don't know why there is so much delay....I think am the unluckiest one......
Hope the day will come when we are having visa in our hand....
God Please help us......

i dont think we should worry coz in spreadsheet....for june applicants only four have received there visa yet and 3 are in process....rest of them still have application received as status....
plus if may end applicants are getting there interview calls.....all june applicants shud be under review now next...

Hey, its been a very long time for you man. Did you order any GCMS notes or do a MP inquiry. I suggest do it as soon as possible. You will know what stage your file is in.
