1. GCMS notes are computer and / or hand written notes on yr case file - they have detailed information on yr application and the observation / back ground check details made by the visa officer.

3. people on this forum are ordering the notes when their application is taking more than the necessary amount of time required; they also order the notes when they are called in for an interview - as the reason and / or doubts the VO may / may not have are mentioned in the notes - so that way the applicants are better prepared.

How much time they usually takes to complete one file or case?

Could you please help me in regards to my application as my medical was done on 01/09/2012 and i have submitted my PP along with RPRF in 1st week of Sept 2012, but till date no further information received so far. I have applied for skilled worker category (Restaurant Manager)

I'm still waiting for my Passports.

Permanent Residence:

We received your application for permanent residence on August 25, 2011.

We started processing your application on August 16, 2012.

Interview scheduled for August 16, 2012.

Medical results have been received.

ye dey did add ma hubby's father's name too.....

i talked to ma lawyer and he said..since ur file transfer dere dey take 120days to issue visa....he like dey do have 120days bt can make decesion before that too....

let c wh happens...hope for soon

oh...but we hve near abt a month to complete 120 dyz....hopefully we'll get our visas soon....before 120 dyz...

No there are not any complications in my case - its first marriage for both of us. i have a travel history of 2 yrs as i was working oversaes.
I think my name clearly suggests that I am woman. My app went to In Process on Nov 6th

Haha name!! Yes now that I really noticed. Well..2 yr travel history isn't that big a deal. Funny how CIC works sometimes. Anyhow now that youre in in process, being a March applicant, your visa maybe just a few days away-hopefully that is!

I sent additional docs in month of sept but i hv'nt received any reply from them. i hv doubt tht thy recieved it or not?? they give me time limit of 1 month to submit it but i hv'nt recieved any other request for same docs submission. i hv delivery confirmation also. is there any way i can check with them tht thy received it or we need to contact MP??

This is what upsets me the most. I have been following this thread from the start and there was always atleast one DM in a week, that is until about lately. Oct 1 was the last time I heard of that many no of DMs. There is no movement in Nov. And I'm afraid Dec is gonna be incredibly slow too:-(
