New Delhi - 2012 applicants

Hey all my friends in this forum a big notice
Applicants with the history of Passports( lost, photo change or expired) are being delayed due to background check so they are holding PP for long periods and issuing visas with the applicants having the single ones!!!!!!

i have one passport...no travel history..or ny other complication. .i m still waiting.. please refrain from spreading any sort of assumptions. ....it causes panic and most of us already have that right now.

Your are right mumble but one of my lawyer gave me the tip, saying delays in cases due to more passports, but your case is straight and forward then sure you will get visa as soon as possible.

Very true mumble... We are already so tensed...it's like getting another heart attack with these new assumptions.
So plz friends try not to create any panic among us.... Share the usefull information, which can help everyone and can give us some relief....

The theory of delaying any one file cuz they have more than one passport or travel history doesn't have any grounds.

Even In my case, applicant has only one passport, and no travel history at all...still there is delay, in process from last 45 days...

My lawyer said me that NDVO are working for Bhutan and Nepal applicants too and from 8 months they are extended it to 9 months so this year they may issue very fewer visa for may and june applicants and then rest may continue after january 5th 2013.

We sent our passport about 3 months back. But we again received another passport request. Did this happen to anyone else? If yes, what steps did you take to track down the passport?

How did you sent your passport ??
You can send an email to ND about this issue, also send them scan copy of your receipt as a proof that you have already sent the passport.

if your lawyer is sharing such information, then i m not sure where he got his degree from. embassy does not "share" such information with lawyers / consultants etc under any circumstances...So just stop harassing people....anyways you will be proven wrong when people start getting DMs coming weeks.

must be a mistake on NDVO's part. you can send them your tracking evidence from courier with an explanation letter.

We sent via Blue Dart. Sent them the shipping receipt and the delivery records sheet from BD.

Guys and Gals I think it would be better if we discuss some pleasant things, knowingly we are stressed.

The fact remains they have clearly mentioned the processing time is 9 months for New Delhi applicants, If they are issuing the visas in less time its commendable and we should appreciate the fact that they are trying to make things better.

while looking at the spreadsheet and analyzing the other people, please do not assume that there are only that many applicants with whom CIC is dealing with at present.

Not everybody is using internet and aware of this forum, so we can not assume how heavily CIC is loaded with work and most those officers are Canadian living away from their motherland and loved ones trying to do something for all of us and the country.

I hope all of you guys and gals get visa soon. Waheguru mehar kare sabh te.

my case is in process from last two months and any of the assumptions with no base are causing stress to everybody.

take a break and have fun give them this year at-least to make everybody's life good.
