Under eligibility, the first line says "recommended for interview"

Thanks Whizbee.
In our application the Eligibility status is still 'Not Started'. And there is no mention for interview.
Hope that means my wife wont get the interview.

Good Luck with yours. And dont stress out, I have been through a PR interview myself (mine was in Buffalo when I had applied for my PR), and it is really very easy.

It still the same application received:(

Thank you. I am trying to keep calm and carry on lol.

We werent asked to but voluntarily provided more pictures and evidence of communication (Facebook, voip, messenger etc.) in a binder along with our passport (after ppr).

If you look through the topics under Family here on this forum, there are quite a few folks who were asked to provide more picture and documents. You can read a few of those posts up to see if there is a reason why..good luck.

No updates.

Ecas shows its 'In Process'. They have started processing my application on 31st August 2012.

I have 4 years travel history. Roughly how long does it take to be DM?

Please share your thoughts.

fadil80 - at lest yr Ecas shows "In Process" thts a damm good sign as far as I am concerned cos mine is still showing "Application Recieved".

I too have a 3.5 yrs travel history - so now clue how long the BC & SC are going to take.

I got my GCMS notes today and although it says I will have an interview, they haven't given any reason for it. They have just written all the details we gave them and then one line says, **exempt from release under ATI Act 16(1)**. That is it. How can I prepare for the interview if I don't know what its for?

You should read the New Delhi - Interview thread - most of the people who went through an interview ahve posted their experience / questions on there.
But from what I understand - they would ask you questions based on your relationship - to see how genuine it is. Which I am sure should not be an issue for all of us here who are in genuine marriages.
All the best for your interview. Keep us posted.

what is happening in ND VO... many are waiting for responses from them...pray for everyone to get visa's soon...

Look what I came across - guess this would give some sort of an explanation why NDVO is slowing down again - Staff shortage = new recruitments.!

Anyone interested in applying?? heheh maybe someone should apply, succeed, get in, and pass all our files..!!! ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Parth bhai, no need to send any passport size pics unless New delhi ask for it.

Just send a cover letter stating what all you are sending down with the PP.

1.) Send your Passport.
2.) Receipt of payment for landing fees
3.) Pcc i guess was included in your file when submitted.

and ofcourse the PPR letter as well..

Thats it..

@parthpatel204....my husbnad got PPR on sept 1...he was going to send his passport but lawyer in india told him that now there is a new rule that passport have to have spouse's name on it otherwise they are going to return your passport..than i consult our lawyer here in canada and he said the same thing...just check with your lawyer before you send your passport.... :)

Hi all, my application was sent to Mississauga on Aug 29 and received on Aug30th. Could I get added on the spreadsheet?

Thanks

When was this new rule implied? Because my husband has already sent his passport to ND but it doesn't have my name added onto it...
