no, I have not contacted my MP, I do not even know what means by MP? no lawyers & agents involved , I filed the spousal application on my own.

ECAS status is still set to DM, showing indian address only - will update I guess sometime this week, but no worries now ;D

Wish you all the very best and I pray that you get your or your spouse's visa very soon.

sorry guys I am new to this website ....... I am try'ng to say that we made a mistake in our application. as u now there is options in the form where they ask in the applicant has been refused for Canada visa for example visitor etc..... and we said NO but my hubby was refused for visitor visa......
help me to find out how we can fix it and is been 1 month we submit his passport..... pls help guys

thank u soooo much reply'ng me back but the problem is that when they ask in the application if he was refused for Canadian or any other country by mistake we said no but the answer.... was yes ......this will be misleading infomation..

Hey I file my application on May 29 and my file was transferred on July 9th. I was approved before most of the people in April and May, does that mean that they won't process my file until they reach end of May (based on mississauga timing), or do they go by file transfer?

Does anybody know for sure how long our Police Clearance Certificate is valid for? I am talking about the one issued in India (and not through consulates or embassies abroad). I think opinion here is divided between 6 months and 1 year.

Does it say somewhere that its valid for a given period of time?

When I applied for Police Clearance Certificate to passport office, they issued me 2 original PCCs, one I submitted to CIC and the other is with me.

I received an email for PPR, they are requesting for submission of PCC stating if not already submitted, but I have already submitted. I'm confused whether should I mail them the one original PCC that I have with me right now OR NOT?

ANYONE RECEIVED 2 POLICE CLEARANCE CERTIFICATES AFTER APPLYING FOR PCC? WHAT IS THE USE OF SECOND ORIGINAL PCC, WHEN IT IS USED ??
