my husband got a call from newdelhi they took his interview on phone it was for 15 min.
question asked

wedding date, wife name, D.O.B, address in canada, where i work, how long take to ,e to get to my workplace, when we met, who was the middle person, abt my first marrige,abbt my pregancy when am i due , if he is happy with this marrige, and at the end he said tusi phir jaldi jaldi jana chunde ho apni wife kol and he said we need a one document from ur wife i will email u the information where and how to send ok that is it.

now my question is do i have to worry abt interview in person or just wait for DM

I THINK ASHUNDAL U HAVE THE ANSWER

and ofcourse guys be ready they can call u anytime . be prepared

your case is very similar to mine............my wife is in canada, nd m waiting in india jus like your husband........my case also filed on feb 16............i also expect a interview from cic...........they ask me for ppr very late on 13 aug. nd i submitted 17 aug. ..........but my application was delivered to ND vo 9th may.............went to "in process" from "received application" in ECAS on 2 aug......wat i expeect from cic.? can anybody help me out.......?
plzz reply.............i'll be thankful guyzz......and all d best to rest who r waiting for visa...........

those who have got there visas this question goes to them.

firstly a heartiest congratulations.my question is after getting visa , is it required to go to canada within any specified interval like for eg 1 month, 2 month etc. Is it mentioned on visa or we can go whenever we want.

Please if visa getters can clear this.

Hi..Go to Profile -> Forum Profile Information -> In tht enter yr details and click on Save..This way you can add yr timeline in yr profile...

sure. I would love to help other members.
First of all, they asked my husband to confirm his full name, date if birth and his address.
then they asked about my full name, birth date, canadian address, where i work and if I have a sibling or not!!
then they went through the phone records and asked if i was with him in india, who called him from my phone number. My parents could not make to my wedding and the answer did not seem to satisfy the VO. it has been two days but still we have no updates!! good luck to whoever is reading this post I hope we will meet our loved ones very very soon...

What is this unusual trend of conducting phone interviews by NDVO? Are they trying to bring in an element of surprise, to catch us unawares so that we won't have time to prepare for any potential questions? Is this their new method to filter out sham marriages??

I think its good way to reduce processing time for applicant they are considering for interview. this way their file will be not delayed bec of interview. And if the marraige is genuine then you must know all this silly questions.

i got a call from ND VO for PPR very late, after three months since my file transferred to ND ...............i didn't hear from anyone thay ask for PPR through call.........moreover, they ask for my PPR very late, noone got such a late PPR............but one thing which makes me relaxed that in my ECAS, my status went to "in process" even before PPR......wat does it indicate??? is it a gud indication???

I agree, I think it would help speed up the process. Kind of wastes time to wait a month or longer for interview date. Then wait again for final decision.
