Depends on the case. Every case is different out there..according to there website it could take upto 8 months.

if your case is strait forward average time to get the Visa back is 2 months from the file transfer date from canada.

Got PPR today...CHC asking for PP, PCC nd Landing fee. but Pcc and landing fee already paid. i can incluse tht receipt of of RPRF, I nvr travelled outside india..do i need to submit new PCC again??

Did you submit in the PCC for India with the application? If you did, you don't have to send in again as long as the PCC is not too old. That PPR pdf is a generic thing.

You need to submit PCC for India, even if you never traveled outside of India.

nope you dont... Thats just a standard letter that they send to everyone....you dont have to worry about a new pcc.

I want to know if incase we order CAIPS notes, does it have any impact on processing?
Can it delay the processing?

I did pay RPRF late, I submitted copy of the receipt with PPR+sent a copy to CPC-M. My GCMS notes say they already rec'd confirmaton of payment, so I dont think thats whats causing the delay. They just haven't tuoched our application since June 26th (according to notes). My guess is I ordered the notes to early, maybe that caused a delay. Other than that, very straight forward case. Just no ones bothered to start looking at the case for almost two months now.

Did you order notes or try to contact your local MP? My MP flat out said they won't help until I'm closer to 8 months of waiting.

What is your case? Did you pay RPRF later? Or with application? That is the only thing I think that is causing delay for me. My application is straight forward....don't know what those idiots are waiting for!

lalatata - I did! Unfortunately, the MP's assistant is a bimbo. She gives me absolutely no information every-time we contact her. At the start of the month we contacted her and she said our application was "processing". My husband asked when they started processing it and she says 19th Jan. Duh! She has no clue what is going on...she doesn't even know what a Bring Forward Date means. Don't know when this nightmare will end! Anyhoo, congrats on getting your visa. Have a great life ahead.

Yeah, I did. The assistant just gives me the standard answer that my file is in queue and I should now contact her after two months. I wanna shake someone (preferably the assistant) hard and say, Hey!! March applicants are getting their visas and you are giving me this cr*p about my file being in queue?!

I have noticed that they don't soon start processing files of people who pay RPRF later. Vengat was an applicant who paid the fees later and it took him 8 months to get the visa. Also, some lady called Canadian wife something got her visa in 8 months...again she had paid RPRF after submitting the application.

I ordered GCMS last month and they hadn't even STARTED on my application. I have ordered it again and should get it in 20 days. Let's see. Like we have a choice but to wait and watch this drama.

I need some advise regarding my wife's sponsorship application...

Also my wife recently got a single entry visitor visa for Canada (I know its tough to get one but we were just luck I guess )

She is planning to come to Canada mid September on her visitor visa but she will need to submit her passport as soon as CIC Delhi requests it. Since we can not send passports by courier she will need to head back to India as soon as the request is received.

Now my questions is whether it is fine to delay the passport submission to CIC Delhi by sometime as she will be able to mail her passport only once she is back in India and does coming to Canada on visitor visa prior to PR approval cause any problems ?
