Same here again. I am 19days and counting!!!! No news, i wish they send an email.......

22 days for me. Was yours transferred from Ottawa as well? I am trying to see if there's a pattern, maybe CPC-M went to New Delhi already, and maybe there's a delay for applications that went through Ottawa pilot program.

Or maybe there's just some delay in file transfer to New Delhi for people who got approved after July 12th.

Hi Guys,

My File was transfered to the delhi office on July 19th, just wondering if anyone has had their password requested yet around that date?

Thank you.

1. the UCI, you received with AOR is your UCI not your wife's. she will get her UCI from new delhi soon after file transfer to ND.
2. you need to update your address, there is an option for "change the address".
3. you need to update your wife's mailing address to Indian address, otherwise ND will send all correspondence to your Canadian address. you can change her address on ECAS also or send an email to ND explaining your situation.
good luck :)

I have noticed following problems:

1) The UCI on AOR and Acknowledgement are the same and file has already been transferred to New Delhi.
2) I already used their online service to update the sponsor's address its been almost 2 weeks now still no change has reflected on ecas.
3) My wife sent an email to New Delhi mentioning all the details I hope they pick and read the email. I do not think new delhi will mail all the correspondence outside the country. The file has to be processed with in the country. I hope address on file is correct and its just the ECas. :)

Thanks for your good wishes...

Same here. I am in Canada and wife in India. When i use my UCI with my information, i see my Canada's address.

But when i use the file no. (starts with F), which i recd with AOR and when i put my wife's information, i still see Canada's address.

The advise i got here from Latalata is same to update that address to India's address or contact ND VO for that.

Even i am confused on that. Shall i update it then send the email to ND???? or just send an email to ND VO about that??? or just wait and hope that someone in Delhi office will notice this and correct this???

Really need advice from senior members on this one please.......
Also is it an error or this happens by default.

Ok Since your and mine situation match Lets put some things to match:

1) Did you fill yourself as representative for your spouse? If you did then you and me are on the same boat and seeing a Canadian Address over there is Logical though I am not sure about that, just trying to do cherry picking on multiple things available.

2) Is UCI on your AOR and your Sponsor approval is SAME?

You can try doing what I did, I asked my wife to send and email to New Delhi with her Indian Address and asking them to use the same for in-country communication as and when needed. This way you can ask them to make sure your address is correct on file.

I hope this will help you.

Hi

You are right. I did send the 'use of representative' form with my name on it and my canadian address on it. So, may be that's why it is showing in there.
If you notice UCI is the same no. on my PR card as well. That means they are using same no. for me when i came to canada 3yrs ago.

The file no. starts with F is on the AOR itself. the UCI is same on AOR and approval.

Did you try chaning the address on ECAS???? Would you suggest doing that????

Also in the email did your wife ask them to change the address or just asked them to keep the Indian address on file???

Hi Everyone..

My lawyer(In Canada) filled the Representative form for my wife as himself to be the representative. My wife lives in India and I wonder if the PPR request will be sent to my lawyer in Canada or will it go to my wifes mailing address... can someone please throw some light on this.

Also what is the difference between file numbers starting with F and B.

thank u all.

If you have a representative assigned then all the communication goes to that representative. You lawyer will send u the copy of the PPR so that you print and send the PP back to the CHC office in Delhi.
