Hi All..
I have posted my file on 7th July 2012, It was delivered as per canada post on 9th July.
I know its tooooo early to post this but I didn't get any confirmation from CIC.
I know they have mentioned 93 days for assessment but I wanna know that will there be no confirmation by that time??

What are the next steps in this process?

My Timeline till now is
Medical Done June 1st 2012
File Sent July 7th 2012
File Delivered 9th June 2012

After a DM showed up on my wife's E-CAS on July 9, they have updated the address to Saskatoon, Saskatchewan under "Current Home Address" today. I am hoping the passport comes soon, so I can book her ticket.

My wife has no travel history.

You are added to the spreadsheet. You will not get any confirmation from CIC-M about application received. Check with ur courier service to make sure that ur pacakage was received. You will have to wait approximately for 93 days before you hear anything from CIC-M. sometimes they send AOR with ur file number and sometimes they approve your sponsorship without sending the AOR. It's quite random. At time point you jut have to wait for your turn....

My company has also applied my H1 and I can get a call for interview anytime.
Now if I travel to US in Nov-Dec'12 and here they call my passport for further processing, can I sent it right from US or what are other Options??

Dear All,

I applied for Permanent Residence Visa in Jan 2012 under Family Class Sponsorship. My Visa Office is in New Delhi and received my PPR in April 2012. As I am working and residing in UAE,if I were to submit my passport at that time, I would put my job at stake. Because of this circumstance, I requested Visa Office to let me submit my Passport at the final review stage. Fortunately, they did agree but I was informed that the process may take a little longer. So, I was interested in knowing if there were anyone who has info. about the approximate waiting period for "Second PPR".

I am a little concerned at this stage. Any help would be appreciated.

Look all depends upon CHC Nd how they will process your application. I filled my application on 5th Dec 11 and submitted passport in Feb 12 and still waiting for a decision. I am still waiting and some applicants who filed in Jan 12 had received the Visa. So you cant conclude. So you can expect such delays. Its normal.

It is illegal to send your passport across countries....I read in a post by someone who got fined for doing this...So, no you cannot...
