There is NO ecas update on Tuesday, Wednesday and even today.

The only hope is on Friday

Oh God Please please Awake NVDOs at least update ecas asap.

I am also going through the same situation checking the status regularly thinking in my mind as if its going to be updated in the morning then if not in the afternoon then if not in the evening for sure, after nothing is updated then whole charm goes off making me sad and disappointed against NDVO for our slow processing. God only should save all of us.

lol, I know exactly how that feels... I hope God will put us all out of this misery soon! Lets hope for the best!

I agree... I think NDVO is gone back to their old routine of once a week updates, which happens on Fridays, even though the CIC website says Tuesdays!

It's been 3 Months and 17 days since PPR, No updates till now.. Still Application Received..

How can we get the PP back?? Will they give it personally at Delhi office, or will they mail it??

I am planning to ask for the PP as my company has given me enough time for this S**T, but now they want me to go Onsite ASAP.. :'(

Hey, This is bad yaar.

People have got their passports back in few days before. You may have to consider some things before requesting passport though, like
- Are you expecting an interview call?
- How much do you loose in all aspects like money, career etc etc if you decide not to request for passport
- Will you be able to take leave and submit passport in event of next PPR
- If your wife is a Canadian citizen then she will be able to meet you very easily in the US. That would be a huge plus point, I must say
However, it will be a personal decision

Have you ordered GCMS or done MP inquiry to know the status? It may present you with a clear picture.

Dear all, any idea what apostillisation of marriage certificate means?? Do canadian govt requires marriage certificate to be attested by ministry of external affairs?? Is it not considered a legal document before attestation or appostillisation??

We had submitted apostillisation of Marriage Certificate as we were married in USA. Though it was not in CIC Guide but for a safer side we done that.

hi cal2can, i dont know how different is your case to mine. but since my husband and i stayed out of india and got married in india, we were asked to notarize the certificate and get it attested by the indian embassy and ministry of foreign affiars in my country of residence. this process is called apostillisation.
i wud also recommend u to talk to a notarer or an immigration consultant - he may charge some 500 rs.

As far I know Canadian government are ok with marriage certificates as long is it is issued by the court in any country..
