I am nt frm oct but close....yes the wait is killing..but good news is..they did not wait till end of month to update....so i think there will be more updates in coming weeks.

Yeah I can see you are "In Process" from 26th Sept. that is really a lot of time. You were suppose to contact MP what happened?? did you get any response from MP?

oh these guys got to be kidding me....
they clear almost all who were in process since 26th sept and leave me out...so much for a straightforward case...

i kinda have a feeling canada may not be worth it afterall...its definately not worth the 5 month agony they have put me through. This is crazy and hopeless..

no offence and congrats to all people who got DMs. ....but this is the only place i can vent out.

Mumble, trust this, u r going to get it this month.

However, just thinking loud, as u know a lot of applicats received their passport before even it went into dm. How about just checking at the local post office if there is a package for u. I mean sometimes these postmen are not less lazier!

I received letter on Dec 15th 2012 requesting for more documents and pics to be submitted by 01/27/2013 from ND Embassy.I sent the package and they received on 25th of Dec 2012.My status still shows Application Received....

Wonder if they open the envelope and work on my file only after the given due date expires or also will they work before the due date ...Comments welcome from those who sent documents to ND office...

Asak Tahsin...my situation is the same...and our timeline is quiet similar too...i was requested for more documents on 15th oct...i sent the same on 17th oct...i got a call from NDVO on dec3rd saying the document i sent was not valid and i had to send a different one...i sent it again on the 11th of dec...after that no news n my ecas still shows app rec...but what i did'nt understand is whyy did it take almost one n a half month to tell them that it was'nt valid...they could have mailed or called when they knew it was not a valid doc...this is jus too much !!!

We paid our post man a hefty diwali bakshish and also gave him a christmas present. He was taken aback. He better not delay my passport.
If he does, I am buying 5000 postcards and posting them to random remote locations in India just to make their life difficult

You know, I noticed that, all except the people you dreamt of getting visas, got their visas...I cant help laughing....Please dream of me not getting visa now.

Well we when we went to MP in dec, he told us our file was in initial review and we need to contact them again in mid jan. But our GCMS came clear with all the checks passed. We are planning to go to MP next week again. The delay may be due to the fact that my passport request came much later, around two months after file transfer, even after my file went 'In Process'.

But it will end soon it has too, I have waited much more than I deserved. And so did so many other people in the forum.

Hi Maplegal....my ecas still shows app rec.
its first marriage for me but its second marriage for my husband who's the sponsor...they had asked for his divorce document issued from the court of law...but we being muslim no court issues marriage or divorce certificates...what we had submitted earlier was from the qazi which they said was not valid on the 3rd of dec over the phone...so we had to get the divorce doc from the wakf board and have mailed it to them...its exactly a month now n no news
P.S we are married for 5 yrs now n also have 2 kids
