Got our GCMS notes.. Took about 35 days after ordering... There is one section named Application Assignment. It says
Assigned to: DMxxxx
Assigned by: BAxxxx
Due Date: January 15, 2013
Wondering if January 15 will be the decision making date and we just need to chill out until then...
Do other people have the same type of entry?

Is there anything more on the GCMS? If you are comfortable, will it be possible for you to post it?

His case is 'In Process' the chances of interview are very very less, almost nil. It may be a decision making or stamping date.

I have one query.

If I order GCMS notes on 1st of a month and I get a reply on the 30th with my status as 'xyz'. Then is this status ('xyz') indicative of where my file is on the 1st or the 30th?

Hey mumble,

Just a minor error on the spreadsheet. My PP request is 11 September not October.

There may be a date on the GCMS notes, date when they generated the report. So the status will be on the date of generation.

Some one in last previous pages have mentioned that as viewing through last year's 2011 spreadsheet, most of the PR visas were stamped before Christmas and then after

January 15th so seeing to these type of conditions in our ecas, something changes are going to be expected only next month itself I guess. :'(

and when you took the test , did they ask for authentication letter of your present indian driving license from licensing authority of your region in india...?

next step would b G2 test... i.e the driving test... or directly Gtest.. tht allows driving on highways... n as far as i knw no authentication is needed frm india

now a torturous wait for 2 more days and the cycle of praying and hoping starts on Monday.

How does everyone pass their time on weekends?

Dear Visa Officer,

Writing this letter to thank you for the time taken to work on my application. Now I know how is it to miss my husband even before having a change to be with him together. It has brought us closer. The agonizing moments spent in the wait has lead me to eat less, which is keeping my health in order. I never knew how moon looked like in the sky 3:00am in the night. Thanks to you I am able to see it now and I must say its really beautiful. (I see it a little blur bcoz of the tears in my eyes)

I also thank you ignoring queries sent by us and not replying to the queries sent by my MP. I understand that you do not want me to get any bad news and spoil my week end. And who goes to Canada end of year, its so cold brrr.

You Mr, have literally saved my life. I thank you for all the agony and pain you have caused me right now for my own good and I wish you get the same.

DOES ANYBODY KNOW APPLICANT's STATUS USUALLY WHEN THEY SCHEDULE INTERVIEW?
I AM FREAKED-OUT OF THE STATUSES AND INTERVIEW!!

Could not agree more.

Hang in there mumble! I'm considering swinging by a certain very famous temple in my city just to make sure the officers in the sky get our message too. I'll pray for you and all the others on the forum.
