Just contacted the CIC help desk on 1 888 242 2100.
The representative said that there is no such rule/policy/condition that a PR cannot leave a country if the file of a person is in-process/received/sponsorship-approved by the CIC.
Only thing is when we get the visa we should enter canada before the Visa expiry date on the PP.. Now what next?? ???

my application have submitted by my husband 27th june nd he got approval letter 5 september in canada. after that i got passprt request leeter from Delhi visa office 25 september nd received 27 september. how much time i ve to wait now......

i have similar timeline as u so lets hope for the best hope we all hear some goodnews soonnn

Can you please clarify, per your timeline your e-cas went to in process before your PPR ? Is it correct ?
And also I am assuming, there was no interview right ?
