I am totallyy agree with you... On one side it feel good to see DM but at the same time it feel bad as well as ppl applied after you got their DM....

Well as everyone keep on saying that working pattern of ND is unpredictable.... So, I guess only thing we can do is waittt n have patience (which is hard to keep now)...

Address Change question;

I see everyone talking that when address changes on ECAS, it is a good indication - what is it about?

When i login to ecas with my details, it should my address (Canadian). I am the sponsor.
When my wife logs in, it shows her address in India.
Is this good?

And our status is In Process since 3rd Sep 12.

Address change appears on applicants client ID ie when your wife login using her client ID if it shows her mailing address as india address and her residential address as Canada address means wait is over now. But it has also been seems sometime ecas says decision made but with no address update but no need to worry as this has happened to a lot of people but that was just one of the ecas flaws that they didn't bother to update address.

Just wondering, did you get this call for the interview after they had requested for additional documents? I mean were they not satisfied with the additional documents that you had sent or was there any other reason for the interview? Please let us know as it might be useful! Yea the interview was after the pictures were sent in....They called and scheduled it over the phone and ofcourse you cannot ask them WHY do we have an interview....but I have ordered GCMS notes. If we get them on time may be we will be able to find out why we have an interview....

thanks guys... 4 months and a week to be exact . I did spend considerable time to make sure the application is very well organised, so that the documents are logically ordered and available for IO review.
You can take hints from the thread pelipeli started. Her's was extremely well organised.

I understand what you're saying!! It's so frustrating! How can they skip ahead so far like this!
I guess we all just need to have patience. No one can figure out how NDVO works. Just remember every case is different and we have to have paitence...at least that's what we keep telling ourselves!

Re: error on COPR-URGENt HELP Required

Leon,

I am sponsoring my dependent child and there is error on COPR. Name, Date of Birth, Passport No., Citizenship are correct. But at the bottom under sponsor relationship it is listed as "spouse" which is incorrect.

I have contacted CHC at New Delhi through case specific inquiry, FAX (3 times) and sent a letter to them. Even after 15 days there is no reply.

I came across similar problem (please see link below) and CHC in NY advised to correct it at POE as there is no error in Name, DOB or Citizenship

Since tickets are booked for the third week October, I am wondering:

Visiting CHC ND and getting it corrected on the spot is a possibility?

What could be other options? PLEASE ADVISE.

hi guys
could anyone help me pls? my wife can't log into the ecas from india. It doesn't show anything when she logs on with her last name (kaur) because she doesn't have her last name (sandhu) on her passport. When i log into ecas here it says decision made for the sponsor and application received for the applicant.

my timeline:
app filed:2/5/2012
sponsor approved:27/7/2012
ppr:16/08/2012
any help is appreciated

Try logging with her first name <space> kaur with her UCI..and details. Hope it will work, at least it worked for me.
