New Delhi - 2012 applicants

How is it possible that people from May are now being approved when others from March have not even had theirs assigned to an officer or it is in initial review?! ???

I don't understand how this office works. It's all on a whim it seems. We're tired of having our lives in their hands! I hope we are approved soon.

harry you are april applicant and already tired of having your life in their hands..!! I'm a whole month before you and I'm frustrated and tired and irritated and everything else you can think of with NDVO.! My hubby seems to be more patient than me.!
I hope we all get our DM's / approvals soon.!

This is too frustrating that they have started to issue visas for April end aplications and March applications have not been assigned yet!! In my case, I am not sure about the initial review bcz my husband got call from Nd vO asking some questions!! After then there is no update at all !!!
God please help...it has been 6 months that I have separated from my husband and now I can't take this

for you at least yr husband got a phone call - here neither one of us have heard anything from ND.!

its been excatly 7 months this week since I have been separated from my hubby & I cant take it either.! :-(

I had contacted my MP but they told me go back to them after Dec as ND takes almost 9 months...and they also said that if I try to contact hem at his point, they might put my file aside and that would cause more delay!!! I do not know if this true or they just don't want to work!!but I am helpless from every side

Can i send additional proof of relationship without being asked for it? At the time we applied (march 6 2012) we only had 6 months of proof, now we have over 1 year of communication proof through phone and computer since we have been apart.

I want to send these to ND. Will it delay the process? Will it affect anything?

They have had his passport for over 3 months now with not a word from them, he was in australia on student visa for 4 years, staying 1 year past his visa expiry, then got bridging visa to return when he could afford the ticket back. I know that is probably a big reason for delay but I want to send these things.


If anyone has done the same or knows anything I will be very greatful!

You should only send what they ask for nothing less nothing more. If they require more documents they will ask for it. That is my point of view.

Hi Jenny thats what I had said in my post, that even a few of the March applicants have not yet been looked at by the New Delhi VO. I do understand your concern, rest assured we are on the same boat! I sincerely hope that you get you visa sooner than later Atleast we have this forum wherein we can keep each other motivated! Good Luck

I understand how you feeling tash46 - we're all sailing in the same boat. My hubby heard the samething from others - tht if we try to push from the mp end - there are chances they will push our file further down the line & more the waiting period. Hubby has decided to wait until Dec 2012 to do something. But I'm so frustrated and mad at cic cus by dec 2012 it just gets tooooo dammm late - it means I wont be able to join my hubby even on our 1st wedding anniversary.! :'( :'( :'( :'(

thnks harry & good luck to you too..!!! Yes I check this forum more times a day than I do my facebook / hotmail / gmail / yahoomail...!!! hahaha so yes this forum keeps us all going while cic / ndvo disrupt our daily lives..!!! hahah
