hello to all

i have two questions pls answer ,,,,,,can we check ecas via phone rather than on computer/laptop

and it is sure that chc nd call only on landline number ,,,,,,,,pls answer

Yes u can check status on phone I never use laptop for this if ur service provider provides Internet service yes u can in the same way as of laptop and ND can call on any number u provided to them whether this is landline or cell

After sending PP to NDVO when they change status, i mean, when should I see some change in my ecas, how long should I wait? I submitted my PP on August 28. I'm an April applicant. I'm asking this because I want to know in advance if any delay is being made on my application.

Also, need to know what is GCSM note and why do we need to go to MP ??

Hi,
I was in your same stage. I work and live outside India. This is what I did. I sent an email request to ND VO for submitting my passport at the final stage of application process, explaining why I m not able to submit my passport at this stage. Then, I received a reply from them saying that, they have accepted my request and would send another PPR in the final stage. But, they have written that the total application processing time will be longer.

I have no choice but to wait. I received my first PPR in April '12, until now I have not received the second PPR. However, I received an email on 29-Aug from ND VO stating that, my application is waiting for review by the visa officer. I hope its in the final stage.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for the info fadil80. Hmm ya four months is quite a long time for ND..hopefully you hear soon since ND contacted you recently...if you dont mind me asking how many years travel history do u have since i heard that makes a difference too..do u know from others' experiences how long it usually takes for second ppr? In the email they sent me, they did not give me a fixed period of time to send in my passport. They just said as soon as possible. Can i take a few days to decide what to do and then email them? Am confused ...
