first of all as u said that When i filed the application for immigration, in the document checklist immigration Canada only requested number 4 but I also sent 2 which was petition........but I don't have 1 and 3 which u just told me.....
this what really happen I was not able to afford good lawyer.... I just went to cheap one ....... he did this divorce application for me ........I got divorce in 2007 ...... I am not sure what I got from the lawyer . I did not had my divorce certificate I went to my lawyer and gave he said he have given me every thing and they give me just the file ### before I came to get married I went to court and got my petition and divorce certificate that is all I have...... pls reply me.... pls
They are not asking for the same documents, I am sorry but you are mistaken. Please see below for the process of getting a divorce in Canada. 1. Step one is to get a settlement outside of the court. You normally get a settlement agreement between the two people who are trying to get a divorce. 2. After the settlement agreement has been achieved and one year from the date of separation has passed, you apply for a divorce using a document called divorce petition (also known as divorce application). 3. After the divorce is granted then the judge issues a divorce order, but the divorce order cannot be used everywhere. 4. After you receive the divorce order you can order a divorce When you filed the application for immigration, in the document checklist immigration canada only requested number. You would have not submitted any of the other items. In the email communication they are now asking you for 2 and 3. But I would recommend you should send them 1, 2, and 3. Number 1 however not everyone always has, it depends if a lawyer was involved in your divorce. But if you have it you should send it.
