Congrats Ashu! Congrats Kanika! Done eh! Must be feeling lighter in the head! Well, I do .

Got the passport,COPR and all my pictures back ( i really wanted the pics, spent like 100$ for printing lol)

They did not sent the passport till Aug 7th for us and that they did as I had to ask my MP to intervene, but glad its done now.

I am going to get my notes in 4-5 days( it would be interesting to see what it shows ) and I think that CIC was actually contacted the very same day they did my DM for the notes lol - Call it perfect TIMING or what not! , hence a delay for sending back the passport

OR it could be that it was taking them time to DISCARD my proofs (given my package was over 5000 pages thick!)

As I know for sure that once the DM is showing with the city,province -> they must have send the passport back and it do not take more then 5-8 business days for them to send it back.. they never send it back till aug 7 hence we did not get it. They did not issue the COPR till Aug 7 hence the city and province did not show up on ECAS even after DM.

Oh...What a relief.... what a relax...i was too tensed on u not receiving back the PP...as that was unusual....anyhow....Thanks to God....so ur wife flying now....n where???

Hi All,

eCas shows my status as "Decision Made". I sent my passport to New Delhi on July 20th. How would one know about what the decision is? Does the ND office email you regarding the decision or is sent with the passport?

You should do it as soon as possible. If you wait for more then 1 month then they will send you another reminder. But the longer you wait the more you will delay your file.

congratulations on your PPR,
if you are not willing to visit india yet, you can send mail to ND with the letter received within email and ask them to request your passport at the end of process, when they are ready to issue your visa. it can increase your processing time but not more than few weeks

i got it back around 12 i think : and they use registered post not courier. it can take upto 10-15 days after DM.

i received my passport back this morning after waiting for exactly 200 days thanks everyone for your help and support throughout the whole process! we are not planning to move yet, so we will be on this forum most of the time, until you all get your visas!
