Hello all,

I do not have much knowledge about GCMS notes.

Can someone tell me whats the procedure to order GCMS notes? Also is it safe to order those without have any negative effect on the ongoing application.

My timeline:
September 2012 applicant.
File Transfer in October 2012.
Passport request and submission in November 2012.
Now medicals have expired in July 2013.
No communication rcvd from NDVO since passport submission.

I sent email to MP at the start of this week, but there is no response yet.

What should I do..can someone please advice? Anyone in similar situation?

There is no harm on apply GCMS Notes.you should Call ur MP and get the status instantly..
Well can u share is it second marriage case or any travle history if u can

Our case is very straight forward. It is first marriage for both of us and we also have a son from our wedding. When I applied it was about 2 yrs to our marriage and our son was about 4 months old. Everything went fast in the beginning till we submitted the passports. After that its gone all quiet and now the medicals have expired.

As expected, the NDVO has not yet replied to my email I sent back in July 2013.

I will order the GCMS notes with the links you posted. Thanks for that.

I will call the MP next week if I dont hear anything from them by then.

I wonder when this wait will come to an end.

hi all, good and a positive news. Finally the big, long waiting game is over. i received my passport yesterday with visa. Ppl who are waiting for your visa will get it soon esp.2012& jan2013 & feb2013 applicants. Dont worry.Stay positive with hope and faith in god.

I would like to thank david cohen for starting CiF& everyone who made me stay positive throughout this tough & hard journey. Thanks again, everyone here answered all my queries in a quick& positive manner.

Finally got email from cic stating that my permanent visa is issued and they need passport to finalize the process...!!

interesting..I thought they would not continue doing background checks etc until they receive the passport...they haven't sent me ppr yet.. your information gives me hope..
