I really wants to thanks everyone on this forum! you people just rock! it was more easy to spend such a long time in waiting for visa just becoz of all your presence.

Please guide me, what are the scenarios, When ND ask you for Interview. Also, I wanna know, are there still chances of getting an interview call after PPR or PPR means they have approved you with interview waived.

Ppr means nothing when it comes to finalizing whether you will be approved or not.

we got DM
but i still have my Indian mailing address on the ECAS, is it unusual to have indian address instead of Canadian address even after DM
is there anyone else, who has faced same problems. ??? ??? i got "in process" on saturday and it took only one day from "in process" to DM

I actually did ask my MP before the long weekend.... and I got a reply back from him saying that CIC ND is waiting for an initial review...

Does this mean that everyone else who got PPR have already got an initial review done???? Guys please share your thoughts....

PPR is system generated Manorite, nothing to do with initial review or anything, they dnt even open your file or anything..

As soon as the file goes to delhi, system generate PPR and assign a file number to your application.

I am sure there is a mistake on NDVO side..

Hope you will get the approval and then they will realise that PPR never got through.

Hey there, what is the add (indian mailing ) on the applicant side of things on ECAS? Is that accurate? If it is then you have nothing to worry about. MP saying that they have not done an initial review is ok. Folks sometimes dont get PPR till CHC ND sometimes is DONE everything and is ready to issue the VISA.

As long as you have the correct email id/mailing add you will be contacted before hand. Mostly it happens automatically but some times they dont ask for the passport till later in the process.

File number is already issued to you from CPC-M when they sent you the approval of sponsorship.

Its a simple case...not sure what's the delay..... I did file a case specific inquiry .... haven't heard anything yet....
