Can you please let us know your timeline. And what is the current status in eCAS. The processing time depends on each specific case.
So far 2 members who applied in October have received their visa.

My wife has put up a request through online links for address change... she moved from one city to another and submitted a address change request as per CIC's guidlines, its been more than 15 days by now and yet the records shows her previous address...

any thoughts from any members as to how many days generally it takes for such request, ( i was under impression that they give address change a priority) and if We dont see a address change for next few weeks, what is the best way to make tht happen....

We did a request 3 weeks back through email and eCAS showed the address yesterday.

It means they are waiting to get the results of the criminality check (whether you have any criminal records). Once they get that they will proceed with the rest of the checks.

To tell you the truth, this only tells you that they are doing the criminality checks right now, there is no way for you to know how long that will take or what the next steps are.

Can you let us know what your timeline is?

Is there any lucky person here in forum who got ecas updated on this tuesday....as after 1.00PM the chances are very less for any update........

another week has been gone now.......

It is more than five months that they could not get criminality check report from the agencies.

Just Ridiculous......And I was thinking only Indian system is bad.

Hay i got call from delhi embassy that "where AND when did you completed your medicals and i gave them all information..".
I asked further information but she refuse to tell me anything.

I have sent PPT and medicals on 6 Jan 2013.
they have received my package as i checked my DD get credited in my bank on 16 -feb -2013

Can anybody got this type of call?
have they lost my medicals ....?

i changed my mailing and current address in...i have mailed to NDVO about this in feb,2013...since its been more than 1 month over but in my ecas, my address not updated???when i got my PPR in march,2013 i again mailed my new address change...but no address update in my ECAS???

confusing???Hpw many days they will take to update new address in ECAS???

They will have your address change in file even if its not updated in eCAS.

i talk to my lawyer i told him that my wife home and mailind have been changed to my new canadian address . but my lawwyer told me that u have requested to CIC to change the address thats why it have been changed and by mistake ur wife address also have been changed . and my layer say i will change your wife canadian address to indian address . i m sooooo confuse now what i do pls help me

What we have seen with few applicants , applicant address changed to canadian address is followed by DM.Can you ask your lawyer to check the status of your application with CHC before any further changes?

Same here.i requested for changing mailing address month back through online and did few followups ,no change yet.I guess they will update our file when is taken for next step of processing.
