Hey guys,
I have been out of this forum for few weeks as i was busy in few other things....got reply from CHC about my query and they said they need some kind of authorization from my spouse to release information on the file....did you guys have any experience kind of this before? i guess we might need to send some kind of signed form to them for consent......and also, an update from my side: file is showing IN PROCESS finally :) i just checked it last night and it said they have started processing on 15th march :) i guess they generally give DMs within few days if all is well...i hope they wont ask for PCC as it already expired in December last year :( guys i checked the spread sheet.....Oct batch is ON...good luck to all!!!

My husband had got the same reply , that they can't give any information to him . Then I (appilicant) had send them a mail . Which they replied on .

try hiring a lawyer or go thru area MP..I have heard if u hire a lawyer OR go thru ur area MP they may respond faster....

The MP might work but people who hire a lawyer get absolutely NO preference! It makes no difference what so ever! & if you have already submitted your papers then it is an absolute waste of money...

You could also order the GCMS notes to see the status of the application...

Am I supposed to send a self addressed envelope along with the passport (planning to send it by courier) for the PPR?
As of now, it's just the passport and the AOR from the Delhi VO i'm planning to send.
Is there anything else recommended to be attached (I have already sent the PCC and the medicals)? Please guide!

Hey.. No, that only happens in certain countries... Just send the required documents along with a cover letter stating which address you want it to be returned to...

Is this regarding general queries to CIC?

Basically the NDVO is full pathetic people. These dorks has no patterns laws or rules which they follow. They are all illiterates. They have no idea about how to work on files/applications. Bloody jerks. But yes, they definitely know how to frustrate the applicants with their unnecessary questions/queries. Doubting relationships and marriages due to few other jerks like them who filed for immigration of their sisters/relatives stating them as their wives and family. At the end the genuine ones go through the suffering and tortures by the Visa Officers.

Had stated earlier and will do it again, Do Not compare your applications, files, dates and dms with other applicants. You'll only be disappointed.

TOTALLY AGREE WITH YOU..... The leave the files on there fate...If its the fate of the file to be picked up today n get processed ...it will be done otherwise it will be just lying at the corner no matter how pathetic our lives become... there is just 1 thing we can do which is forget after applying ...but ppl around u will keep poking u by asking abt ur visa ....I feel like going somewhere where no one knows dat I am waiting for somethin which does not have a definate timeline....WAiting witha a hope ....never felt so helpless in my entire life.....
All the best to all who are waiting fr long ......

It is better you should ask by case specific inquiry and mark "URGENT" in subject line. They will call you or reply you.

Good luck....

A query with MP will take minimum 15 days and your partner have to take an appointment with him too.

hi im sponsoring my wife, on the cic.gc.ca site it says decision made:

We received your application to sponsor Gagandeep on November 8, 2012.
We started processing your application on January 17, 2013.
We sent you a letter on February 4, 2013 about the decision on your application. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

and under application received it says:

We received Gagandeep's application for permanent residence on November 8, 2012.
Medical results have been received.

any ideas how much longer it will take?

thank you

hi can you add me to the spreadsheet?

I have added you to the spreadsheet. Wish you all the best for a speedy visa!

You dont have to give real names when you provide information in this forum.

thanks waitingsince2004- I have come to believe that they reply to the applicant only- does that mean they will call canada.

At this point contacting the MP will be rather pointless- once you've got the DM then there's not much the MP can do...

I also think that you should send NDVO a case specific email....

@bv: does that mean u r the applicant and currently in Canada? I think NDVO doesnot mail the passport outside India.
