Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
Just noticed today that there is a new citizenship application that has 02-2014 in the footing.
I have applied 2 times. First time I paid the old fees (200$) and the application was delivered on 6 February and was returned to me. I made another complete application and submitted it with the fees balance which reached them on 13 February. Now what??? Should I submit a third application with the new forms???

Yes there is. I was to apply for citizenship last may, but because I lost my IMM5192 I had to wait till I received my VOS. AND now they have changed the application AND increased the fees! fun ! NOT :-[

I Called the CIC today asking them if the application will be returned because of the new forms that were issued and he said it will be up to the agent. :o

Its not like that they wont return it to you same case is with me i had submitted old forms with new fees i also called cic agent told me that there is only one form sept2013 they also dont know about this i dont think so it will be returned Relax

I don't understand, i cannot find any new application! There is only "september 13" which i filled it out? I can see that CIC updated the application for minors (Feb14) but adults application seems the same one?

This is the new application CIT 0002 (02-2014) E http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/citizen/CIT0002E.pdf

Thanks! I am waiting CIC to return my application cuz of the recent fee increase. Should I fill out the new one and send it back or the one i already signed (feb2)?

I am thinking of sending both applications, because the original one will be stamped with the reception date.
I will explain that I am sending both applications because it is not clear which one is valid for the date I applied. They can throw away whatever they don't need.

When did you send your application? You can pay the difference in fee's ....there is a section for that on the "pay" site of CIC

I didn't wait for my first application to return. I just made a complete new package with the two invoices (the 200$ one and the balance 200$) and sent it with an explanation letter

Did you already fill out the new application? The only difference between the new and old one as far as i can see is the question 6F and I cannot find any detail instruction about 6F. In the application form, question 6f asks "if you were not employed, you must indicate the reason for being unemployed and confirm the dates of your unemployment under "work/education" and indicate the time period." I didn't understand where should we indicate the reason for being unemployed? I checked the instruction (step 2 complete the application) and it does not say anything about where to / how to indicate the reason for being unemployed either. Do you have any idea or how did you fill it out?

Thanks

The way I did it is I filled unemployed under the work section. It was only for a month after I arrived so I said the reason for unemployment is Immigrating to Canada. And I put N/A under employer.

Hope that helps.
