Hi Guys .I have been a silent observer of this thread for quiet a while.I am worried about my Medicals,people around the same time have recieved,I checked with my employer even he didnt recieve any verification call from CIC.

I got medicals on July 18th and I am suffering from Typhoid fever. I am taking medication. Is that ok if I give medicals. please suggest.

How does cic send rprf request? Is it online, if we receive the med req online?
I am away for couple days and I am worried that I cannot respond to the request right away.

You will receive request over email with detail instruction.
But you can pay the fees upfront and mail the receipt to cic.
I would suggest waiting for email rather than paying it upfront.

You have 60days to complete medical.
I would suggest complete your treatment for typhoid and then go for medicals.

Typhoid can be cure in a week time if you follow the proper diet plan.

Looks like no status changes on this week also ?

My Medicals are done and Doctor's office confirmed they were uploaded to eMedicals already.

My concern is, I have sent details on UMI to CIC as advised by Doctor's office. My IMM # didn't show up in eMedicals and during Medical appointment, they had to create one and was asked to send some documents which will link my UCI with UMI or something like that.

I sent them to CPC-CTD-OTTAWA email id and got auto-acknowledgement but not sure if they have received my medicals or not.

It's already 3 weeks .... Can we call CIC helpdesk and enquire if meds are received?

Did you do your medicals upfront? If that is the case, then you will have to wait till CIC reaches the medicals stage for your application. What does your GCMS notes say?

I see, did you ask another doctor if it showed up in his/her eMedicals? It should be the same case, but better to eliminate the doubt if it was an error with the doctor's system. Highly unlikely, but possible.

Also, what your doctor did was typical of UFM and it should be attached to your file soon. I recommend you order a set of GCMS notes to see what stage your application is at. 3 weeks delay can happen after MR, so don't worry about it too much.

You are welcome, just call up another doctor looking for an appointment and ask the doc if they see your file on their system. No harm in doing this

Hi - I got my MR and did my medical on 2-Aug. But application status still shows as "Application Received". Doctor office confirmed that they sent the results last week itself. Is it a problem?

Do you suggest we do medicals again if we hear they can find our details using IMM# ?

Can this entry in eMedicals be the one entered during my medicals earlier? If so, still they need to link my case to this UMI eh ?

I had the same thing. Doctor's office said my file is not coming up with the IME #. Even they said that it happened for many people. The doctors office also wrote to CIC about it. But my story is same. Got MR on July 18. Got medicals done. Doctor's office gave me new UMI #. Emailed CIC. Got acknowledgement ...But nothing after that...no RPRF request yet. From the forum it looks like no Jan applicants received RPRF yet. So looks like the process has slowed down a bit may be due to summer holidays
