,,,I am in the same boat

I have done upfront medical on July 10... still got request for medical on July 18 since I have not sent them a receipt (I guess)

sent them an emedical confirmation the same day ...since then no reply or no change...this is a fourth week started now

I had the same thing. Doctor's office said my file is not coming up with the IME #. Even they said that it happened for many people. The doctors office also wrote to CIC about it. But my story is same. Got MR on July 18. Got medicals done. Doctor's office gave me new UMI #. Emailed CIC. Got acknowledgement ...But nothing after that...no RPRF request yet. From the forum it looks like no Jan applicants received RPRF yet. So looks like the process has slowed down a bit may be due to summer holidays :)

How long have you got the acknowledgement from CIC after emailing the UMI#? I did the same thing as you three weeks ago, but no any feedback from CIC.

Looks like no status changes on this week also ?

My Medicals are done and Doctor's office confirmed they were uploaded to eMedicals already.

My concern is, I have sent details on UMI to CIC as advised by Doctor's office. My IMM # didn't show up in eMedicals and during Medical appointment, they had to create one and was asked to send some documents which will link my UCI with UMI or something like that.

I sent them to CPC-CTD-OTTAWA email id and got auto-acknowledgement but not sure if they have received my medicals or not.

It's already 3 weeks .... Can we call CIC helpdesk and enquire if meds are received?

The same boat with you. I called help center yesterday, but the agent answered she could not answer question like this, the only way I can do is to email the case processing center in Ottawa and wait response. You can try to call, maybe another agent will give a different answer.

The auto acknowledgement email came in a day...After that no news. For some reason the process seems to have stopped...Otherwise based on updates from prior month I have seen folks getting RPRF within 1-2 weeks of MR

i recd. rprf request on 15th July and paid the same day, am a Jan 2 applicant, I got MR request on 9th Jul and results were uploaded on 24th/25th July but no update after that.

Hey friends,

How do you know the medical reports have been received by CIC except for checking applicant status online? my medical reports have been uploaded 3 weeks ago, but it is still shown as" Application received" when I checked online.

Thanks.

Ways to know for sure:
1. Order GCMS Notes
2. Wait for ECAS to be updated
3. Get your RPRF or PPR.

You can also ask your doctor if he/she uploaded it, to be mostly sure that it will have been received by CIC.

Hey Feiniao,

1) Ask your doctor, if he/ she said they have submitted then
2) Check online status and click on the " Application received". It will prompt another window stating if medicals have been received or not.
3) or Send CIC email stating if medical has been received or not!

In my case online status is showing following, Note that I have appeared for E-medical and I mailed CIC, E-medical receipt as well

1) Application received on 9th Jan
2) Medical has been received.

Thanks

Hi balamughal,

Can you confirm to which email id did you send the receipt/e-Medical details please ?

Many Thanks ,

Hi

As with the post put on by balalmughal, we completed e-medicals, we also e-mailed CIC with the e-medical receipts and our ECAS status was changed to add in “Medical has been received”.

We will not have PPR as we are from a visa exempt country and RPRF was paid up-front.

Considering we are in this position something has clearly slowed down within CIC as we should just receive our paperwork to land.

I am not clear on the usual timeline between medicals being received and receiving paperwork to land. Various posts and trackers show this from a few weeks to a few months.

Thx

A

Hi balalmughal,

Thank you so much. Yes, It has been confirmed with the doctor again that the medical reports have been submitted to CIC on July. I just checked online status again, but just show Application received on December 23, 2013, no further information found. However, the experiences shared is very useful. I will keep to check.

hi

I was asked to submit the employement reference letters to confirm job responsibilities around 2 weeks back. I did that in last week and it got delivered to them. (thought they didn't acknowledge over email etc.)

Today, I see that my ECAS status changed to 'In Process'

So, is it 'OK' to consider that MR may follow soon

OR

This ECAS update was generic and getting MR may depend on whether I am able to satisfy their requirement for employement reference letter.
