I left my job last friday and am flying out of the country next week and coming back on September ! how can I inform CIC with all this plz ? I will be hunting a new job after i come back

Email them. Update them with an address, the job situation shouldn't matter.

If you email them to update the address, you might as well put that in the email too

Does 1 year of self employment count as Canadian Experience? I have a trade name registered in BC, under an open work permit.

Can I apply under the CEC stream after 1 year of working as self employed? What kind of documentary proof I will have to show besides proof of registration.

Is there a minimum amount of salary/earning I have to show?

Sorry man, but as a self employed person you're not eligible under CEC stream.

Hello Guys,

I had applied for PR while in CA and now I am back home. I have requested for the change of address and they have acknowledged my email.

I wanted to check, if I can request for Visa Office change to home country at this stage. My application is in received status

Application submitted in Jan 2014, acknowledged and moved to Ottawa for processing Feb 2014 & called for RCMP Mar 2014.

No calls for additional documents and on-line status showing as “received”, any indications (best guesses) on timing of next phase or status moving to “in-process”.

AOR Received – Feb 19th 2014
IELTS – Submitted with application
Nationality – British
Resident – Canada
Application – Myself, Spouse 2 Children

RCMP certificates sent April 2014, Police Clearance Certificates obtained from UK, China and UAE as I was a previous resident of all these countries, as yet no requests to submit these.
