Where is your destination mentioned on your ticket? same is the place you will get your luggage. you do not need to get your luggage yourself, if it is online carrier or same airline. It is the duty of airline If it is the case, the airline staff will inform you.Gengerally that will not happen. Vancouver is the transit point, it is not your destination. The immigration department will check your visa details in Edmonton, not in Vancouver,since you will not cross the immigration line in Vancouver. so to say, you need not be confused

As I am traveling from Nepal to Edmonton, my flight is Korean Air from Nepal to Seoul & from Seoul to Vancouver same Korean Air and then I will travel through WestJet to Edmonton. Some of my friend said that I must finish the immigration procedure at the point of first entry to canada. My final destination is the Edmonton. I only have 5 hour transit at Vancouver, I got a bit confused weather I have to finish my immigration procedure at first point of entry or I can finish it at Edmonton.

Average price of ticket to Toronto, is USD 800 or sometime cheaper in Economy classs OW.............i.e. NPR 75000-80000 in QR and other airlines. Edmonton,vancouver around USD 1000 or NPR 95000-100,000.

If the price is similar, always choose Qatar airways, which is five star airline with all the best facilities. Long transit is quite boring and if the price is $300-400 difference you can check. Next thing, In many transit area there is possibility of losing baggage or may be sometime torn or broken down............,so do not see only price. I am advising since I have been working in airlines for more than half decade................

I am looking for the information about the landing. I have stop at Vancouver around 5 hour. My concern is that should I have to collect all luggage at Vancouver or I can collect my luggage at Edmonton as my final destination is Edmonton.
I heard I must finish my Immigration procedure at Vancouver. Does it necessary to collect luggage at first port of entry?

I will have more than 5 luggage and 2 hand carry bags.

Sorry sir yeha busy vayera reply late vo. hajur le vancouver ma luggage collect garera feri teha arko plane ka lagi boarding pass linu par6a. ani hajur ko sabai immigration ko kaam tehi hun6a. edmonton aye pa6i kehi garne hoina. anisabai document tapai le afai sanga rakhnu hola. passport ticket boarding pass ani landing paper, proof of funds ( draft) generallly yini aru luggage ma narakhnu hola.
