Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
hello!!!
so today i received an e mail from my consultant telling me that cic is now requesting for my police clearance from Singapore..
now my question is, is it quicker to have someone get it for you who's in Singapore or to mail all the documents needed directly to Singapore police office?
can anyone guide me through this?
do i have to fill up the appeal form? what do i put under supporting documents on that appeal form? and reasons to appeal? btw , im applying under common law sponsorship..

i hope anyone from here could help me...my cic request is dated on june 17, but i only got it on july 4, i feel like im running out of time since cic only give 60 days to have this done :(

Hi, I went through something similar. I sent all the documents required by the police (fingerprints etc) to my friend in singapore and she helped me mail it to the police. She also wrote cheque for me and put it in the envelope. I had to do that because it was not possible to write cheque from Canada. They only accept certain banks.
If it was possible for me to write cheque in Canada, I probably would have mailed the documents directly to the police.

you need to fill up the appeal form

in Canada. Singapore police website says that they are no longer accepting walk ins and mail application. everything has to be done through online now :(

You can pay online by credit or debit card. Overseas applicants, need to mail in the original hardcopy of fingerprints impression.
