hello friends... I applied in April 2010 and send my full documents in November 2010 . I applied through a consultant. My consultant didn't send my original transcript in the university-sealed envelop. He send the notarized photocopy. After such a long period I came to know that he didn't send the original transcripts. Now my query is can I send the original transcript now though they didn't ask for it yet or should I wait for the VO to ask ? I hope you guys will help me .

IF you have the file number or the Visa Office has responded with some ID for your care. SEND IMMEDIATELY with explanation letter. Also terminate that A** H*** agent and communicate yourself.

Yes he is right

Before you fire the consultant, you might want to check the Visa Office Specific Instructions for the embassy processing your file. Not all of them require transcripts to be in a sealed envelope. Some accept certified true copies. Manila for example.

Go to www.cic.gc.ca and download USE OF REP FORM where there is a column for cancellation of representative.
Next write a covering letter indicating change of address . Provide ur address and tel no, email address. After sending these check E-Cas to verify the same. If no changes is found contact ur Visa office thru the webform.

Regards,
Shibuya

think well before hiring or firing stunt dear. If your vo does not require originals then why fire your consultant but if they do then do cancel the rep

Hi!

Thats fine. If they need original documents they will ask you to send again. I am quoting the reply from CHC London. Thanks

Dear Mr.XXXXXXXXX

Thank you for your enquiry.

You are not required to submit your original documents when submitting information in support of your application. Photocopies are acceptable. Notarized copies are not mandatory unless specified otherwise. The immigration officer may need to see the original copy of a document during the review process in which case you will be asked to send the original copy to our office.

However, you MUST submit your original police certificate(s) and language test results (if applicable). Also, translations must be notarized.

Yours sincerely,

Subject: Original transcripts in university sealed envelope

Dear Sir / Madam,

I have applied for Canadian Immigration (Federal Skilled Worker class) for which I have received my fist AOR asking me to submit requisite documents within 120 days period. Your required documents list states as

(6) EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS

Transcripts. Original transcripts of all degrees must be submitted in university sealed envelope.

My query is that I have only one set of original transcripts issued by university and my university does not issue second set of originals unless the first set is lost. But they can provide certified copies of originals in university sealed envelope with University's Controller stamp and signature on the envelope. May I ask that can I do the same as university does not provide second set of originals.

Hope to hear from you soon.

Kind Regards

It would have been better if you had sent originals but as your consultant did not send originals so better wait now or you can write an email to your visa office like what I did and take their advice.

Thanks

According to the checklist for Singapore, they are required to be in university sealed envelopes. If you have your file number and you've got a new set, just get your consultant (or you) to send them and ask they be added to this file. It does look like your consultant made a mistake but it's not the end of the world. Can easily be fixed.

I already sent an email to my VO 3 days ago but they didn't reply yet. I asked them if I can send the originals now or not.
